So i happened to catch a part of Richy's YouNow live broadcast. And he said "Pain of Fame" like twice.  And both times he said it he was like "OOOOOOOOOUU".  I remember gagz saying it a few times in interviews too.  I hope it's a song title or something...I really like it.

Honestly, all Gaga needs to do is write really good songs with really catchy choruses.. Songs that have intelligent lyrics, songs that really showcase her magnificent voice, and songs that are uplifting and fun... (Just Dance is one of her most fun, lighthearted songs - more of that.) 

 

I would add that one of the things that I think really killed ARTPOP was how egoic and pretentious it was...

 

(Don't you know my ass is famous?) (I'm blonde, I'm skinny, I'm rich, I'm a little bit of a b---h..) (Mom and dad think I'm a mess, but it's alright cuz I'm as rich as piss...) 

 

These kinds of lyrics are really stomach turning, in my opinion. It makes it hard to listen to, it makes it unrelatable and honestly it's pretty narcissistic. 

 

I think a lot of people are turned off by that kind of stuff.... 

 

I love Gaga regardless, but if she created songs that are more universal, more thoughtful, more emotional and way less narcissistic, I think we would see her explode again. 

 

In that regards, I think this Jazz era is doing wonders for her... Because it's really showing to the public how powerful of a vocalist she is - more than ever before.. And it's also helping her put the depth & quality of music first, rather than the fame, the ego and the bling. And that is just going to make her more accessible and magnetic.

I need Gaga to be the power hause she was back in 2008 - 2010 and I'm not talking about being successful on the charts but the fact that every performance was amazing and different rom one another, the amazing futuristic fashion and most of all the choreography that was always on point that were the things I missed the most through the BTW era and with ARTPOP there was hope for that with TachHause invebtions etc. but these ones never saw the light of the day AND most of all the videos were the things I didn't like in the BTW era .... GUY was the closest thing we got from 2011-2014 to the videos that Gaga was known for I pe next era we see this Gaga again :ohno:

I agree, in 2011 Gaga has been so much overexposed, that's why Marry The Night flopped, even tho ARTPOP came out after a long pause, maybe it wasn't long enough... That's the same thing that happened for Beyoncè in 2009/2010/2011, during the release of I Am... Sasha Fierce queen b has been so over exposed, everysong she was releasing as a single was going to be a hit (Halo, Sweet Dreams, Single Ladies, Video Phone, also Telephone became a hit) and then she released "4" in 2011 and even tho is a really good album, it flopped cuz people got a little tired of her. She made the right thing in december 2013 and she released"BEYONCE" in the most shocking way she could, with no promo before the release, with this new concept of a visual album and with some cool new sound. That's wath I hope will happne with Gaga. With Born This Way she got over exposed, with ARTPOP she flopped a little (there's a lot of reasons for the ARTPOP flop tbh, menagement mess,exc.) and now she's keeping a low profile with Cheek To Cheek just letting peopleknow she is way more talented than many popstars outhere nowadays, she will keep a low profile during 2015 with the c2c tour and she will probably use the first half of 2016 to finish her next album. Her come back in mid 2016 will be HUGE, trust me.

I disagree. Marry the Night flopped because it's too long, too noisy, too weird, not relatable enough. MTN just doesn't sound that good for people who aren't fans. Another reason is the loss of momentum after Yoü and I, especially in Europe. And the way too long video didnt help that much either. MTN wasn't catchy, and had it been catchy, not as long, less over-produced with cleaner, more natural vocals it could have probably taken off.

ARTPOP was just a big failure in almost everything. Announced too early, postponed continuously, hip surgery, inconsistent theme, not so catchy songs, good production goes to the unrelatable songs (GUY, MJH, ARTPOP), EDM was already not trendy anymore at the time of release, the management was a total disaster starting with the Applause leak, 500k$-costing iTunes festival, last minute VMA performance change, lack of WW promo, second single change, youtube awards mess, R. Kelly collab, yet to be released music video, incosist ent fashion, and the complete stop of all promo after December 13 or so.

Surely this is a sign that if Gaga DOES decide to bring out a rock album, it doesnt mean it can't do well!

I think a rock album could do quite well in West-Europe and Japan and okay in the US and Canada. Perhaps she could revive a genre just like she did with synthpop :excited2:

I would enjoy a collaboration with a large movie company. so that Gaga could put her inner actor to the test. Since most of the Gaga experience is visual I think her album should be made into a cute movie first, like High School Musical, but an adult version (like a movie with musical numbers).. Then she can release the audio as an album a few weeks after.
