I know it sounds quite lame and people might get mad at me, but I honestly think she should try to get in better shape as she were before ARTPOP. I don't know... nowadays feels like her dance moves and stage presence aren't the same. Yeah, I do know about the surgery she did.
I really hope her outfits will get better too. Specially the wigs! Gosh, she came up with some really bad wigs this era. Some looked so cheap it hurt.

She should release some fashionable and futuristic videos, with lots of remarkable choreography as before. No long boring videos anymore. And of course, get together with her management team and make the 6th album promo worth it.

At the end, I really hope she has lots of fun and gives us lots of amazing TV performances!!!!

I agree about her getting ripped, but (1) thats a controversial subject here and (2) she did this interview after SXSW where she talked about people constantly telling her she needs to be beautiful and it made her say **** off and do the opposite. I respect that attitude even if I don't always enjoy looking at some of her concoctions (like the hobo ensemble she wore in said interview).

 

I dont think she always makes long and boring videos, imo the only video by her ive ever genuinely hated is Marry the Night. Applause is great (imo the only reason people complained about it was to complain not because it deserved it) and GUY itself was good. The rest of the ARTPOP film seemed frivolous to me (at least the VENUS and MANiCURE portions) but I mean it wasn't boring.

 

The wigs I agree, she had that beautifully big wavy wig at the very start of the era and then she teased it to Hell and it kept getting bigger and bigger and then green, I was like why?

 

For the next era I just want clean, expensive, mature but still somewhat youthful and if she wants to say **** off and do ugly at least do it chic.

Mmmmm, Ill agree that in terms of fashion for the most part the Born This Way era came off more expensive (even when ugly) and part of that has to do with the vault of vintage Versace being opened up to her and Nicola dressing her in Mugler and what not. I think with ARTPOP she started out looking expensive because the team she had was advising her to go more minimal (because at the start of the era they claimed they were going to focus on textures, makeup, and textiles rather than full on ridiculous ensembles which is what she went straight into as soon as her and management split behind the scenes). I think they were telling her to be a certain way so she rebelled against that by doing the extreme opposite which wasn't the initial intention for the era. Thats how I perceive it anyway basing off that SXSW interview in particular. All in all I felt visually this era became somewhat of a mess and looked cheap in terms of her costuming, I still respect her sort of **** you attitude.

 

I mean, I hate Marry the Night. Im not entirely sure what other videos she directed herself besides that one but I dont really mind any of her other videos. I dont think shes against having help either. But I will say that when she works with professional directors **** looks really good (Bad Romance, Applause, Born This Way, etc).

Im not hyped at all. Remember she aims for Classic rock and that probably will come along with simplicity. ARTPOP era was already like that. She promotes C2C so hard because she is excited to work with Tony

Well she said on early stages of promoting album that she goes for more minimalistic fashion. Compare her ARTPOP outfits to TFM or BTW ones (maybe except Venus).

That because initially I think they were going to go for more of a minimalist visual story with emphasis on aspects like textiles and makeup. But nearly as soon as the era began (like after the first month if even) she began rebelling against her management team and went immediately to visual extremes. So ultimately the era wasn't minimal at all. I think most of her costuming and what not has been pretty gaudy and at times DIY looking. Even the Cheek to Cheek era, with its pretty gowns, is contrasted by her needlessly large Cher wig.
