Gaga to NY Times: "I was so confused & tired. But now it’s so clear"

"Lady Gaga echoed that thought, perhaps with a touch more diplomacy. “I want my fans to understand that this would be like if, 80 years from now, 30 different people had sung ‘Bad Romance,’ and it had been a hit 20 different times,†she said. “I mean, that is a song that has time-traveled, and maneuvered like a s-xy little snake through the future.â€

Like y'all need to read this through again, think for awhile, and then shut up forever with the "i want the old music back" comments.

Every  interview for each Gaga album sounds like the same written scrip with different words.

When she was promoting ARTPOP all was she saying that she's so happy to be performing again and how she was all messed up and dope for the past year and that a lot of people that she thought were her friends betrayed her.

Now with C2C all is she saying how she couldn't use her voice for the past 4 year and how she was singing Jazz since she was 13, and that she didn't want to sing anymore.

Literally this interview, the parade magazine one and the past few before are like indentical .... what's going on with BTW the only thing she kept on repeating was that she was italian, her interviews were so much more interesting and idk had more variety, does she remembers what answers to give every time. It just sounds a bit stage  just my opinion

There's only so much a person can say about a project. To casual readers, this will be new information. It's important, to her at least, that this information is spread through as many outlets to as many people who will read. It's only repetitive to fans because they read every article.

And to be honest, she repeated herself a lot during TF era promo interviews too. Her producer named her Gaga. She's from New York. She wrote for Britney and the *** cat dolls. It was all a little more varied because we knew literally nothing about her or what her art/music was about. We know this now. Every album cycle from now on builds a small layer upon that. You can't expect her to totally revolutionize herself as a person in one album cycle. That's unrealistic.

Whispering

Does she cry in every C2C interview? I'm starting to think it's pre-planned  :toofunny:

Gaga cries easily. Have you seriously never noticed that?

Anyhow, she's talking about coming out of a deep, dark depression and is thankful for feeling better but she's still emotionally vulnerable at the time.

This is Gaga, she's just like this.

Nice interview. She sounds especially coherent and well-spoken here. :) The lack of crypticness is refreshing, though it is fun trying to figure out what she means when she spits phrases like "reverse Warholian expedition" :teehee:

Really liked this article, and very much looking forward to the album.

If nothing else, those who are not interested in the album should be grateful it's process has given her the clarity she needs to continue making music. Working with Tony seems to have been very therapeutic time for her, and it shows - it's exciting to think where she could go with her music now.

I really like what she said

it's clear that she was disappointed with the ARTPOP era and she lost inspiration and motivation, it seems like she was so done with music and she didn't want to try anymore :(  I'm still not here for C2C but I noticed that Jazz and tony have somehow saved her and that's great, can't wait for her next era :excited2:

her motivation is back :excited2:

My Favs = Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Ricky Martin, AKB48

I've noticed this is many interviews with Tony and Gaga... I don't like how Tony seems to almost neglect pop music, and gaga's music. Like he says "Oh, finally her fans will hear REAL music. GOOD music, not like POP MUSIC that she USED to make BEFORE". You know what I mean? It comes off as kinda rude..
