I don't care if you like his opinion or not, but don't say that he knows nothing about it when he only states his opinion. Are we living in some kind of Gaga-dictatorship that we need to like everything she does and are not to allow to criticze her?

The majority of fans on this site (close to 70%) stated they were going to buy C2C. Another 15% stated that they were going to wait and see.

 

He is part of the 15% that aren't interested in the album. 15% is not a majority! They do seem to be the loudest though, because they are whining and complaining so much and so often, but they aren't the majority.

 

An opinion is fine, but after everyone has heard it 100 times...we get it! And presenting a personal opinion as a fact, and adding in a few statements you made up along the way as fact, is no longer simply stating an opinion.

 

Sure, everyone is allowed to have them, but don't think that others aren't going to disagree or say something when that person is presenting their opinions as facts. Especially when they aren't close to being true.

She has yelled on stages for wanting a better life for 80% of this base. She has addressed your issues in countries to the point that she got banned. She addressed your issues on high profile events and made people high ranked speak about it all the way to the president himself. She made make sneaky remarks about it even last night in Dubai where it isn't legal at all and dangerous on top. She does it all for YOU without being asked but that's what her heart tells her is right.

This needs to be plastered all over this website. So many fans are so entitled and so wrapped up in "MY OPINION!!!!!!111111oneoneone" that they fail to take any of this into consideration. What sickens me even more is that WE KNOW just how depressed she has been in the past year, but many so-called fans think that their b---hy opinions are far more important than her happiness.

 

As for the people who keep insisting that we are her bread and butter and that she does actually owe us something, I have to ask you: Look at what she's done so far. What MORE do you want? Yes, we all want her to succeed and make many great achievements, and we all want more great material from her, but not so you can gloat because your fave is #1. She's already done SO MUCH for you. Yeah, me too.  I find the most difficult thing in life is following Gaga's lead; not shading anyone, being kind to the unkind, realizing that every person is great in their own way, and remaining kind and positive in all circumstances.  I can't do it consistently.  I sometimes get angry and trash the shaders even though Gaga tries to teach us to respond to negativity with positivity, and to respond to hate with love.  She wants us to be the bigger person.  It turns out Gaga isn't easy, but she's worth giving the best effort we can.  She wants us to be our better selves.  Personally, I find it so difficult.

The bottom line for me, is that everyone is entitled to their opinion. Music is subjective and not everyone is gonna like the same genres of music. 

However, what really irks me is when you have people CONSTANTLY saying **** about C2C, its not just their opinion anymore, its not about the fact they dont like jazz its about them feeling as if gaga has 'betrayed' them or whatever because shes not doing pop music. 'We got her where she is today' 'Well pop music is what got her, her fans' 

So she isnt allowed to try something else? To be quite truthful gaga doesnt owe her fans anything, but she always has given us what weve wanted (musically i mean) so why cant you just let her do what she wants for an album? 

If you dont like Cheek To Cheek or jazz then theres nothing wrong with that, just wait patiently for the next album please rather than flooding the forum with negative comments and whining.

Well, this fanbase is a mess. It's more anti-Gaga than those haters lol. Many monsters don't support Gaga for what she wants to do. But that's ok. Because even if one person is happy with her decision to give CTC the love of a 'real' album and making it a big event of her life, there is where Gaga's success as a musician lies. So...this era won't be as even as it used to be in TFM days but it will be better to not see the massacre that the fanbase was during ARTPOP era (when people were playing their own game rather than listening to the music Gaga makes). Anyway, I'm VERY excited for this album. Honestly Gaga's Jazz vocals give me goosebumps. I always knew Gaga is one of the best vocalists of today. But CTC is like a final affirmation of that. Her voice is like the most precious diamond ever discovered - it literally sounds like that in this album. I can't wait for the full album. :giveup:

The point is it isn't a majority, even on this site. It is a very vocal minority making all the noise. The goal of this side project is not the same as a solo major label release. There are more benefits and possible positive outcomes that have nothing to do with the amount of albums sold or any kind of radio play. This album is very different than the rest, in many ways.

 

 

No, she didn't imply anything. She said she would do a smaller type tour for C2C and Tony is the one who was talking about another jazz album. Gaga is signed with a major record label, so even if she wants to do another one, she will probably have to wait a while. There are time frames that artists have to abide by, so they will hold her to the typical time frame. This side project is just a little something extra we are getting, like other artists might do a Christmas album between major releases. Some fans of these other artists like Christmas music...some don't. No one is going to make them buy a Christmas album or follow the performances. They can be mature about it all and just wait until the next album comes out.
