I'd rather get an acoustic, rock. trance, whatever album after C2C! I like Gaga's jazz but I don't think we need two albums of covers, it's pretty dull. If she released her jazz version of Applause, some of her other songs or written some jazz music then I would be here for it more! Also whilst I see and understand your point about Katy, I think we can both agree that Gaga's pop music is on a whole other level to most of what we hear by other current pop artists! :) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I just said it'd be far more interesting for me if she recorded original material or jazz versions of her songs. I stated multiple times, I'm gauging from the reactions here and the other big Gaga fansite. I'm glad some people are here for two albums of jazz on the trot but personally and from what I've seen, not many fans online are! We're just repeating ourselves now and the original point of whatever this was, has long faded away. GGD and ggd =/= a good representation of the stans and casual fanbase. Otherwise, we would see the same demo percentages here that we see at Gaga's concerts, and that is not the case. Also, a few people in this thread (including those who are just shading for big laughs, those who are uphappy, and those who are slightly hysterical :haha: ) do not represent the overall opinion of this forum. Many fans online are looking forward to C2C. I thought we already established that the second album is a rumor and may never happen. My comment was about how stans, fans, non-stans and the media felt about the upcoming album. And yes, many in those categories are here for it. Gaga doing Buble type shows would show off all her range and fit her to a T IMO. I don't think she'll quit pop, but if she became a combo of Buble and Celine and Elton she would take over the world just as much as a pop star with a fickle audience. And even then it doesn't matter, many people from 2009-2010 stopped coming to the forum or jumped ship. There is a whole new legion with BTW/ARTPOP monsters on the forum. It's young It thinks pop music is the only viable form of music It thinks the people on pop forums represent the entire demographic It greatly underestimates the fanbase outside pop It ignores many successful and legendary entertainers, including contemporary ones, that are outside of pop It thinks Gaga is stuck with this fanbase and should pander to it or her career is over There are definitely times I think losing this fanbase would be the best thing that could happen for Gaga.
