The androgynous flower thing etc. Too bad she didn't do anything with it. #sellout I don't think so. I think it's just kind of like the refined elegance of the photoshoot, similar to the style of her photos for the Versace campaign. I feel like it says that the essence of Gaga is a very basic, animalistic s-xuality and elegance and everything else (the couture, the videos etc.) is just expanding upon that very simple foundation. But according to her own text, the perfume is supposed to carry a theme of androgyny. This idea has a literal reflection in some of the ingredients used. But elsewhere she seems to pretend it's just a perfume for a s-xy, adventurous woman. This confusion is just a mess and the idea of androgyny (or even that the perfume could be worn by a man) is completely lost in the promotional images we've seen. It's just a perfume, not an album, who cares if it's too "basic" It's a shame that now everything is all about the title and the looks and the non-sensical "idea" behind it all instead of being what it truly is - an accessory of smell.
