I think she meant that she was going to sing without the backing track to show how she is going to sound. I was there too.

Maybe she means that in the future, her singing style and music style will be toned down, like classic, as in Joni Mitchell or Carole King? Since she's mentioned going classic rock, in particular.

Exactly. She said "a preview of what is coming' not a new song, she probably made a mistake in her speech. She was talking about touring and coming back again.
