I think she should keep write good music, but I think it should also be music that will do well. It would be more exciting if she were more successful... No Angel 128 Posted August 7, 2014 Share Posted August 7, 2014 I think if Applause took off the way it should have, we wouldn't be playing this "music not the charts" tune, honestly. That song, along with Do What U Want should have taken off, but things went awry. Although they were pretty great hits, they were two of the most deserving songs from ARTPOP (in my opinion) that could have been even bigger, but eh... things happen. The girl behind Bad Romance, Poker Face, Telephone, etc., could easily write a catchy song. Bad Romance was a meaty song with several different meanings, but it was still catchy enough and caught our attention.
