well yeah cuz i wanna discuss it. to me, these projects is just a money-grab. but i get that she wants money, i'd like some, too

What matters is how you approach things not the fact that you approach them. Elizabeth Taylor had her own fragrance. Having your own fragrance isn't by default indicative of a soul-less reach for cash. However, im not saying that Gagas attempt is filled with soul either. Shes a commercial pop star thats apart of the mainstream, to complain about her doing something like this seems kind of odd considering how commercial she is.

Didn't think of it like that.  :flop:

Aha lol :flop:  Maybe it'll grow on me, but I think FAME is so much more of a classy name that could be the perfume of any celebrity, whereas EAU DE GAGA sounds like a perfume solely for Gaga fans.

OMG, I can't believe people are flipping out over what the damn bottle looks like.

For starters, *I* personally think it looks sophisticated and classy. Secondly, I don't know of anyone who buys a fragrance based solely on the appearance of the freakin' bottle. The two fragrances I wear the most are Kenneth Cole Black and Calvin Klein Euphoria, and the bottles of those fragrances are plain and basic as hell, I don't care. I only care about the actual fragrance.

GOOD GRIEF, PEOPLE.

Oh my gosh, I did not intend to accuse Gaga of copying someone. I am well aware that using standard bottle designs is common in the perfume industry. Just like the brand Keiko Mecheri sold their old bottle design to Guerlain, who now use it for their exclusive boutique line of perfumes. I just wanted to point it out :rip: Some of you are so touchy.

The intention in aesthetics of the bottle design to David Beckhams is totally different and is executed differently. They are both rectangular and they have block caps, they're aesthetic qualities are entirely different. Im assuming they both wanted to look high end which is why they're both minimally designed with a plaque. But you act like its literally the beckham bottle painted black with gagas name on it. Like, are you blind? And THEN you say it looks nothing like Tom Fords private blend and lie about owning one and im like what, the, ****. I mean clearly its not exactly the same but it seems obvious thats what it was going for.

At first I was kind of bummed that the bottle looked sort of plain.  But if you look at the fragrance bottles for Tom Ford, Chanel, Gucci, D&G, etc... they're all actually pretty basic designs, yet still maintain class and great smells.  Ties in with C2C?...

That makes sense !

A lot of people buy fragrances for the bottle, its considered a collectors item. Especially within the world of celebrity fragrances.
