WTF are you complaining about? it's part of her artistic persona she's combining these elements togheter since the beginning of her carrer and do not forget that she's a pop star not a charity institution. I don't know how did they got it since well.. it is obviously not legal and they don't want to tell and put someone on risk. Probably someone who had access to it because of marketing or distribution reasons. For example, I got Fame like 2 months before the release because people at sephora had already received it (obviously they couldn't sell it) and I knew a boss from a store. Maybe that's considered "basic" in comparison to the Fame bottle, but tbh I like both. It does look familiar, but at the same time the black and white one-woman/multiple-men perfume ad and a square perfume bottle is really common. I'm not fond of how typical it seems to be, because the design and photograph for Eau de Gaga seems to offer nothing new the way FAME did, but I also understand it's technically a good design/photo and one that works. Men wear unis-x perfume. Quite a lot do. The perfume label isn't really an issue. It isn't even anywhere on the bottle. She is hardly doing a bad job at promoting a uni-s-x perfume label. If people think that a uni-s-x Lady Gaga perfume is alienating enough for a straight guy, it would be a disaster if she didn't aim her marketing at them or design the product in a way that appealed to them. The bottle clearly serves it's purpose in communicating itself as a uni-s-x perfume. Some crazy gaga-fied bottle isn't going to effectively communicate that message and it isn't going to come across as appealing to it's target audience. I agree completely. I personally prefer the FAME bottle design, but I also acknowledge that such a design would not work for a unis-x fragrance from a marketing standpoint. Obviously Gaga is releasing this perfume because it is a sure fire way to make a boat load of money. It's lame. It would be great if she used this oppotunity to take the piss out of the entire celebrity fragrance obbession, but she wont. Whatever passion she had for mocking the "culture of the popular" has long been gone, this secound fragrance and Real Housewives casting in her last music video prove that. But, the way she promoted her last fragrance was amazing; the lilliputian posters, sleeping in a bottle at the Guggenheim, and ariving at events in a million different incredible ways.
