I'm glad you see it that way. The songs sound great to me and a lot are very pop-py. I just don't think there is much artistically as BTW. BTW had a lot more heart and soul. You can feel it when you're listening to both albums. I love her and she's amazingly talented but I'm ready to move past ARTPOP and see what the future holds. This was by far her worst era. Regardless of a good album, everything else was worse than anything she's done before.

AMEN :worship:

i like it when u treat me mean it turns my mood from black to blue

I find that I really have to be in a Born This Way mood to listen to Born This Way. That being said:

- Marry The Night

- Born This Way

- Judas

- Americano

- Hair

- Scheisse

- Bloody Mary

- Highway Unicorn (Road to Love)

- The Queen

- You and I

- The Edge of Glory

are seriously perfect songs.

Such a flawless, perfect album. I love how every track has a very cohesive production/sound too. I feel like it was the first time Gaga created an album as one solid piece of work.

ARTPOP's still my favorite though.

I dare to say it, BTW was the dissapointment ARTPOP healed me from :kissga:

No lies told. AP gives me hope that the greatness that created TFM hasn't completely gone

TFM > BTW

bye

TFM=TF>AP>BTW

:wtf:

ARTPOP is a great album, but only her 3rd best when we look at it as a whole product :

1. Born This Way

2. The Fame Monster

3. ARTPOP

4. The Fame

Deal with it.

Flawless taste sis  :legend:

Yes. It's her best album to date. Lyrics, production, theme, promotion, message, even the tour - everything was when she was at her strongest. As I've said countless times, her delivery of conveying the message she wants this album to be associated with was effective, if not her most effective. It's crystal clear what the era is truly all about. It's all nothing but an extensive campaign for acceptance and social equality. It even led to the launch of a foundation named after it. That's a work of substance, and the gravity of the album's intent and eventually impact makes it her best contribution yet to the world beyond the music charts.

BTW > ARTPOP > TFM > TF

Yea, BTW is a pretty powerful album. There's a lot of songs on there that constantly give me chills. And it definitely has the most cohesive and fully realized aesthetic of all her albums, both visually and musically.

Neither Born This Way nor ARTPOP are without fault, but both have electricity and genius running through them like blood.

:flutter: the only sensible person in this whole goddamn website.

ARTPOP and BTW both have a heart and soul.

While people bash ARTPOP in favor of BTW now, 3 years ago, twice as many people were bashing BTW in favor of TFM.

It really doesn't matter what people think of them or if they're "good," what matters is that they're there. (Stole that quote from Gaga lol)
