Don't worry Katy, even if you found FAME disgusting (and that's rude anyway ms. Keene) maybe you'll like EAU DE GAGA  ;)

I respect what Katy said and whatever she said is true. But I don't think an acoustic album with that voice would be a good idea. It's nothing unique or versatile, it's just a voice of a hit singer. Plus, I don't think she will break any boundary ever. She hasn't broken any yet. Her record lebel won't let her experiment. They want $$$. And people are not here to take Katy seriously for her music.

Better Day

You guys claim her to be childish, but have your heard the second half of PRISM? The second half is nothing cute/childish, it's honestly and truth. Like I said before, the first half is use for commercial success, to make the bling. PRISM is nothing like Teenage Dream expect for a few songs.

Anyway, I'm excited to see how Katy's music will change. Just saw the Prismatic World Tour (today, well it's yesterday now, anyway) the acoustic section was beautiful. Katy + guitar = flawless masterpiece.

Lets talk about the 'first half' of Prism, She has a song called 'Dark Horse' with basic lyrics like "I came in like a Dark Horse" What the hell is that meant to be mean, it sounds like a really bad Cheryl Cole outtake. We have This Is How We Do what the hell is the song about, Her first half of the album doesn't even have meaning behind the songs, No metaphors, No social statements.

The second half of Prism, she has a song titled 'Double Rainbow' like WTF is a double rainbow, It sounds like a really bad song I would write, Another song 'Love Me', Maybe I say no more

Prism was literally the most basic, Most boring, Uninspired album of the 2010s, Don't get me started on the tour, It is so embarrasing

Inb4 she changes her mind about being experimental at the last minute like the dark era. :awkney:

Love Katy Perry though, her songs are amazing however she just needs to start to mature a little now, her music can be a little immature like her tour and I think she needs to develop and quit with the candy land theme she has had going on the past few years. I would really like to see a more darker grown-up album.

The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

First, it's "Cause I'm coming at you like a dark horse". I don't think that's a meaning to the song besides being catchy and if there is a meaning to the song, then I think it means you have to be careful with who you fell in love with because you'll never know what the other person is capable of. "This Is How We Do" is just a catchy and fun song. Not everything an artist writes have to be groundbreaking or having social statements.

"Double Rainbow" means double the luck with seeing something that is rare (correlation to the song, it's rare to find love). I do admit, it took me a while to get into "Double Rainbow". Are you serious?..... You did not just come at one of the best song on the album... She is expressing how you have to love yourself before loving another person and don't let another person change who you are. Her second half of the album is about her depression/suicidal state after her divorce, so I don't see anything childish...

It might be boring and basic to you, but to others it's inspiring. This album help coped me through my depress after breaking up with my boyfriend. This album gave me the strength to stand strong and literally let the light in to find a better tomorrow. The tour isn't that bad. I went to the show a few days ago and it was an amazing show. It was fun and emotional. The production's top notch (I would even say it's as good as the Monster Ball, expect for the good dancing & vocal like Gagaz).

I am really done trying to tell this fanbase that Katy is not immature or childish. Please don't let the radio friendly songs blind you from the real/true Katy.

Just so you know. There are other people the think the same way you do. The not biased ones.

I can understand some don't like Katy. I can take the comments about her not being as vocally talented as Gaga, not being so artisticly-oriented as Gaga, and not pushing boundaries. Because they are facts. Katy is still in a phase of her career where her label makes her follow marketing strategies rather than expressing herlsef as an artist first. But why do that hurt people's butt so much? Ist it because she's succeeding at it? LOL

But why can't some pressed souls just accept these facts too; She is in fact talented, she writes songs, she can sing, she plays the guitar, she doesn't buy her vevo views, she doesn't pay radiostations to play her songs (otherwise everyother artist with a major amount in their bank account could do that, and I don't see many rich celebrities having radio ans streaming success all the time), she might be childish with some of her imagery but is that a bad thing? is every artist on this planet supposed to be mature and experimental? Don't kids have the right to have music that accomodates to their age and all familly's? REALLY?

REALLY, the fact that some of people dislike Perry is fine. If really they dislike ger that much, they could at least ignore and stop talking so much about her. It just shows how much they really CARE. And the fact that they diss her with unfounded statements and lies, it just shows one thing for sure. They're pressed!

She's already done it.

Now I feel kinda sorry for her because she tries to be somebody she's not. Teenage Dream and OOTB eras were cool since she was herself, now songs like Dark Horse feel kinda forced to be different.
