If you also went, are you having covid symptoms too? It might be best to get yourself tested. :franminervini:

Franch Toast

I went on Friday and thus far still feel completely fine, but I wouldn't be surprised, because any large indoor unmasked gathering puts people at risk for Covid and other illnesses.

Is that still athing ? I mean getting tested, at this point with the herd immunity vaccines created Covid shouldn't be an issue... then again it's the US

The vaccination rate in the US is relatively high (70% is fully vaccinated. 81% got at least one shot), but the problem with the vaccines is twofold: the vaccines don’t offer sterilizing immunity (meaning that transmission and infection are still possible even when vaccinated) and that the vaccines only offer waning immunity at best (usually wears off around 5-6 months post vaccination). Also, there’s mounting evidence that because of how frequently COVID mutates that herd immunity from COVID isn’t really possible and that cumulative COVID infections are actually pretty bad for you.

And that’s why I hate the mother****er. :smh: I’ve had it 3 times while being vaccinated and felt worse each one of them. It seriously affected my health and I can’t imagine catching it again in my current health status.

It really is such a mf’er. I’ve had it 3x atp as well and it’s fcked me. Horrible cognitive deficit/brain fog, tinnitus, soft tissue loss, fatigue…wishing you the best and hoping they find some kind of treatment + cure for long COVID/post-COVID health effects.
