Titzlol 607
Biting my tongue, I love Katy but I will say Gaga has more talent in her left thumb then some artist do in their whole body.
popper 3
That's because Gaga lives music. Music is only job to Katy. Bye, b---h. This too! ----------- Gaga is so grateful to us for believing in her and letting her live her dream of course she's going to be crazy for us
ClapDown 0
She does have a valid point, though. Some Little Monsters are way too obsessed with Gaga. Even worse, sometimes it seems like Gaga takes fan criticism too seriously to the point of detriment to her happiness and her work.

LetsGetHigh 52,683
If you're not desperate why do you pay radio stations to play your song once every other hour?

TimisaMonster 31,073
The hypocrisy in her own statement....Katy is the most desperate artist I know right now.... Gaga may have some DEEP love for her fans, but that doesn't make her a crazy person or think she's Jesus Christ. She just has much more appreciation and sincerity towards them. People like Katy, Justin Bieber and Rihanna treat their fans badly even tho they're extremely popular. They say they're thankful, but their actions towards them say otherwise. HermioneGranger 608
There is a difference between what she is describing and having a real relationship with your fans..
blacklistedd 599
Katy is desperate though. Shes as try hard as most people think Gaga is, shes just never gotten much respect and even if she does its for being shallow. Yet I see many people praise Katys supposed purposeful and unabashed superficiality but in all honesty her shallowness is contrived. Its not even uninhibited. lucia4 0
Gaga never "pretended" that ARTPOP was going to change the world. Fans put unattainable expectations that she was going to. It isn't her fault that she didn't meet these expectations. She never ONCE said it was going to be a game changer, so please stop putting words into her mouth. As for BTW, that album really was a game changer. Dr. Luke sent in people to her TMB tour and created songs like We R Who We R inspired by BTW (the song) after they saw what direction she was going. Empowerment songs became very popular during late 2010 and 2011, and it isn't a coincidence. Angelina Jolie was inspired by her looks and applied them for her new role in Maleficent. And she helped gay fans all around to world to feel better about themselves. Plus it's the second best selling album this decade only behind Adele's 21. And its tour was one of the best selling of ALL TIME. If that isn't impact, then I don't know what is :) Alright... 1. GaGa totally hyped up ARTPOP. It was supposed to be some revolutionary album that brings art and pop together with an app and whatnot. She said lots of those things. She could've just released it as a fun album. 2. Empowerment songs have been powerful for decades, that's nothing new. I don't know the entire history of pop music, but Express Yourself (unfortunately the only example I can come up with) was about empowerment and released decades ago. 3. edit: I stand corrected. Angelina's facial features for Maleficent were indeed inspired by GaGa's look. :) 4. BTW tour is in like the top 20 at most? Top 15 of the decade I think. And where are you getting your facts from that BTW is the second best selling album of this decade so far? That's a legit question, not a sarcastic one. Unrelated to your post and related to 50% of the replies in this thread: Holy crap I didn't know this forum was full of puerile 5th graders. What's up with all the Katy Perry hate? Maybe her management does that, hm?
