lucia4 0
Wahh, that's confusing... So how are SW and QS even allowed to appear in the movie if Fox owns their rights? They pretend they're different characters? That's a shame, Evan Peters was amazing as Quicksilver in Days of Future Past. :( I still see so no reason to boo the woman for stating a correct fact tho...lol. They pretend they're different characters? Some characters appear in enough comic book series to not be able to be pinned down to one. It's about which franchise the characters are most associated with. Like, whilst SW and QS originated in X-Men, they went on to join The Avengers so comic book readers associate them with both. Whereas characters like Wolverine, Captain America, or even the Skrulls, are mostly only associated with the one franchise. In regards to how they're 'explained' in the MCU. They were referred to as 'miracles' in the Cap 2 credits scene, so it's been assumed that it will be similar to the X-Men origin in the sense that they've developed their abilities through mutation... it just won't be mentioned in a way that infringes upon the rights that Fox own. Also, Marvel said that magic will be in the MCU, but it will be explained as 'energy manipulation'.

So long they do not use the term "mutants", there are always loop holes. That is why that woman who playing as SW was booed on ComicCon. Lampost 663
Would anybody be against a MCU thread instead of independent ones for the movies? I like this idea
