edit: I found this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/26th_Annual_Grammy_Awards and it says it was the most watched Grammy's to date, with 43.8 million viewers. Considering Donna Summer opened the show, it's probably safe to say she is the most watched performance ever slay

She's a singer/songwriter and a diva, popular in the late 70's / early 80's. She rised during the disco era and had a few pretty successful singles :) You can read more about her here:

and according to this obscure post, the opening act of the grammy's is always the most watched part of the show. But it's been confirmed on her wikipedia page that it is and I'm trying to find the proper receipts but I know they exist.

sorry but she didn't hate the gays. you took that quote out of context and made it seem like she did when in reality she was acknowledging the AIDS epidemic at that time. it was MEANT to come across as God loves you but just not in the current state that those who have AIDS are in right now. don't defame her please. and read that article i quoted you with as well as jdsummers's post. thank you.
