It's not the song's problem, it's yours. I don't expect people who love a completely different style of music to care about the trumpet solo or what they did with the arrangement, but lets not blame your disinterest on the song's quality, okay? Gagas curse is that she became famous in a genre where the only thing anyone cares about is having a catchy hook. Pop songs can be ba--l as long as people can "pop their ***". Maybe it's because we aren't jazz fans (at least I'm not). As much as I loved The Lady is a Tramp, I don't think I'll care for any songs on this album. Jazz just isn't my cup of tea. They probably haven't heard music without it for so long and don't realize there's vocalists who can do things with their voices that most popular artists can't. When I heard about the album I wasn't interested at all but then I liked Anything Goes so much and now... Disappointed.
