Floppy 7,951
I've given up on this whole subject. Gaga's weight changes like she changes her wigs these days. I'm sure she will be thin again soon and then will go back to a thicker figure, it always happens, especially when she switches between promoting and touring. Nissa 51
Gosh, this thread shows why so many girls & young women have eating disorders... All the teen and young males on this site...talking about grown adult women... Exactly, this is what it all boils down to. These guys have ZERO knowledge how women's bodies function yet they feel utterly entitled to dictate how much a person they supposedly admire should weigh and what their body should look like (a person, by the way, who suffered from bulimia and body dysmorphia). It would be funny if it wasn't such a perfect illustration of how women are treated like objects by society (at best) and how many, many people think they're justified in saying that a woman's value is fundamentally tied to her body and physical appearance. It is sickening and I'm sure that these guys - especially if men had been s-xually objectified, exploited and oppressed for thousands of years like women have - would just love it if people started "discussing" their bodies like every random idiot has a natural right to search for any perceived flaws and complain about their looks and lifestyle like it's any of their ****ing business. Retep 0
I never really even noticed her weight, I don't get what the big deal is. She looks great and seems as healthy as ever, the outfits live look amazing on her too. Societies definition of 'skinny' and 'thick' is way too toxic these days for everyone. daviddarko 144
Remember? I love this Gaga. The same Gaga I felt in love in 2009: The Curvaceous Beauty from 2009
Masaki 71
Can you believe theres still stans who wish for this: ThickGa>>>> Tch, because body shaming her slim figure totally is a positive thing. She looks beautiful thin or curvy. Even at her heaviest she was gorgeous.

To be really honest with you I disagree with what you said in the beginning. Yes it's known in society that women have suffered through body image and the interpretation of a perfect woman or lady (perfect example, Barbie). But I personally have suffered through weight problems growing up and was very insecure on how I looked and I'm a Male. I've been through personal problems with my weight in the past and I'm still fighting them today. However I do agree that people or "fans" are sculpting their perfect interpretation of how gaga was at her "peak" or when she was "healthy" and "s-xy" to them and what wasn't good enough for them. She's a beautiful woman and I've loved her through all of her weight changes as long as she was/is happy and performing I don't care!
ByeBye49 161
They were not praising her Anyway I really don't care how much she weighs, personally I think she looks better a bit more thick but it's really up to her and how she feels comfortable. She is clearly strutting her stuff on stage so she is fine.

I agree with everything you posted. The only thing I might add would be that, sadly, males aren't the own gender to judge the females body- I have come across many times where females themselves call out and bully fellow females for their "muffin top" or "double chin" or "flabby arms". I would agree though that males are usually the most judgmental of the two genders. And also, I wonder how many of you actually believe the things you are typing. I wonder how many of you actually find Gaga attractive heavier and on the flip-side; how many of you say these things just to make conventionally unattractive women feel a little bit better about themselves. I honestly don't mind current weight, it's not even something that should be discussed about because she's not even overweight. My only suggestion would be to find better fitting clothes. Lord knows she must be suffocating in those latex pants.
