Dann 354
I officially get in that mind most of lady gaga fans are ignorant If she will perform or not, It's not up to your opinions anyways.
Dolev 866
Any argument that is contrary to your opinion is pointless. We shouldn't even bother tbh. His blindly-supporting of a terror organization is becoming more ridiculous with every comment. Seems like he's more anti-Israeli than he really cares about the Palestinians. somechick 1
If Hamas had agreed to the cease fire proposal days earlier, those children would not have died. The Israeli-Palestinian issue is a deeply complex one and I certainly don't believe Israel is blameless in the failure to find a peaceful outcome. However, to jump on the "free Palestine" bandwagon ignores the deeply complicated nature of what's happening there. I see that Rihanna tweeted a "Free Palestine" statement and then immediately took it down and insisted she did not intend to post it. It resulted in a lot of angry responses. If Gaga were to announce a cancellation of her show in Tel Aviv, she would be immersing herself into a very complicated problem and also serving the interests of Hamas propaganda. Sometimes artists should make political statements, but sometimes they have to rise above politics. Political issues come and go but art is timeless. Gaga can perform there and make it clear she is not endorsing any political agenda, that she opposes violence as a solution to any political problem. I just wanted to say thank you for posting about the other side of the situation. Alot of what I am reading in here is just bashing the Israeli government, but not noting what Hamas are doing/have been doing. It is an extremely complex situation and to put the blame all on Israel is not good imho. To be honest, I don't know all the ins and outs of what is happening, but I am sure it's not 100% Israel's fault and I don't think Gaga should cancel the show unless it was not safe for her to perform (and yes i know Tel Aviv is not near Gaza). Riley 1,298
I think it should be canceled only if Gaga, and the people attending the concert, are at danger in any way.

Seems like he's more anti-Israeli than he really cares about the Palestinians. this is extremely off topic (and catty and pointless, nobody cares about your ~omg we r above this~ comments, even people who agree with you) but i'm not sure which comment of mine led you to think i support any terror organisation. i'm pretty sure my comments have nearly always focused SOLELY on the palestinians. and as they say, one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. darkwolf 590
She should cancel, and I'm pretty sure that's what's gonna happen if this war continues.

You doesnt care but youre still replying ok sir Don't ask me for your attitude when its clear whose side you're on. You completly ignored any act of violence taken by Hamas, not to mention condemning those. "One man's terrorist" is blacklisted by the EU, the US, Canada, Australia and Egypt. Please, be reasonable. MJHolland 12,723
The problem is that the concert will still bring in money for the government who might as well indirectly use it for the conflict I don't want it to be cancelled because of the fans who don't necessarily share their governments views I want it cancelled because of the money it will make So she shouldn't visit any country giving Israel money or support right now by that logic. Don't be hypocritical.
Mikebristow 35
Altho She might get hit by a missile that Hamas is shooting over FROM Palestine (GAZA).. That IS why Israel is going into Gaza in the first place. I don't know if you guys knew that. Hamas ( a terrorist organization) shoots rockets over into Israel then hides all its weapons in elementary schools and hospitals of its own people. SO i think Gaga is anti war but she doesn't have a problem with a country (Israel) defending itself. I remember she saw the two towers fall in New York . she talked about how she cried when she watched the towers fall in New York and Gaga said: 'I was in New York on September 11 and I watched the Towers fall with all my girlfriends from the roof of our school.' Gaga is pro life not war it seems on the most part so she wouldnt be pro Isreal or pro palastine she would be pro Monsters :)

Gomstre 2
and as they say, one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. That's funny considering Hamas is the main reason for the blockade on Gaza.
garnite 8
That's funny considering Hamas is the main reason for the blockade on Gaza. let it be clear that i didn't say hamas are the true and most just and reasonable fighters for freedom here., NOR did i invoke any discussion of hamas by anything i made. that was dolev. nor is that what this thread is about but you guys had to bring it down here. there is probably a thread for this. this thread isn't about me. i love the attention but please... it's not for now. :')
