A lot of people are fans of both Lana and Gaga. Lana just released an amazing album and Gaga released one that many people found disappointing, or at least messy, so a lot of people are trending towards Lana.

The Lana vs Lorde comparisons come from their sound. They both have sultry voices and their songs are about being young and getting into trouble. The production on Born to Die and Pure Heroine is dark alternative with hip hop beats layered in. That's where it's coming from, however I disagree that you can't like both. That's just silly.

On the comments about Gaga "falling off," I think we can all agree that Gaga's lost her cultural impact and mainstream appeal over the last 2 years. A lot of people just forgot about her and it's actually really sad.

I agree that since losing her team she hasn't been at the top of her game but that doesn't mean this era hasn't been amazing as well. It's just different.

Plus, the c-----e comment is really distasteful. I'm sure he wouldn't like it if someone said the same about Lana, but judging on his inconsistency as a loyal friend and supporter of her, maybe not.

I'm not gonna take what he says too seriously and this doesn't deserve to become a Lana vs. Gaga thread. Neither of them have anything to do with this trash talking. Besides, Lana only hired him because he looks like her ex.
