while it was announced I had no internet (for WEEKS) and I think a day after I arrived back to the USA and I was in a car and I saw the picture and I flipped the **** out

Yeah I had high hopes for this era too but oh well. Not everything always goes exactly the way we want it to but that's life. No point dwelling on the past and "what could have been". And I think it's a little selfish of us to always be like "Oh Gaga let us down, what a disappointment this era has been". I mean, it's not exactly been a picnic for Gaga either, there's probably a lot of sh*t that went on behind the scenes that we don't know about. You know that the last thing Gaga would want is to disappoint her fans, and if she did, it certainly wasn't on purpose. Besides, the ARTPOP era wasn't a complete disappointment, we did get a great album, two amazing videos and a couple oustanding performances. And despite what people say, I still think the artRAVE is a great and very entertaining show.

 

So let's just be grateful for what we have, move on and hope that the next era will go more smoothly.

I remember I came out of the shower and went on LM and the announcement along with the I+V promo pic and I was like wait wtf is this! And then I screamed and jumped because I was so excited we were finally getting ARTPOP! I snapchatted and tweeted it to everyone haha

I was on holiday with my friends and my friend (who's also a Gaga stan) starting freaking out and shouted me over and showed me the picture and we both started jumping around haha

I wasn't much of a social network user then and I didn't care to follow Gaga accounts back then so I can't remember. But really I don't remember much from last year.

And btw I don't think that thing lied about much besides the app. The first 3 paragraphs are about the app but then it's about how ARTPOP tella a story (which is does) and would bring art and pop together (which it did) and it's an EDM rage album which it is. So don't blame Gaga for everything.

And besides... If you don't obsess about charts all the time this era was quite good (ignoring G.U.Y. Era which didn't last longer than a month). :party:
