I'm a Charli XCX stan who's album only sold 12k overall so I don't stan for an artist only because of the amount of sales it get but That's my actual opinion. AP is a FAILURE compared to previous eras LOL. TF is better, serioufly? And everyone knows that fans hold Gaga to a ridiculously high standard. If her other albums had sold like Charli's album (no shade) I think you would say differently. Obviously fans are swayed by the media's opinions on ARTPOP. I'm not surprised though. Gaga for the earliest part of her career was favored by media and obviously media has the power to sway people. Mob mentality. It's not excuses. The quality is incredible in the production and the concept is strong.It's a confession of her deepest thoughts and only because it is masked by EDM and seemingly trivial metaphors people think it have not much to say. ARTPOP is her most honest work, the key of reading of the "ART" in her carrer. She is every icon she is the summary of Pop culture and she is impregnated by it and each time she's giving birth to a new vision of it. The ART is not in ARTPOP , ARTPOP ( in the concept ) it's only the means to understand her previous works that is PURE art. She is a surrealist . She is every icon of pop and art. She is the multimedial daughter of past ICONS. "Do you wanna see the girl who lives behind the aura?" "i'm not a wandering slave i am a woman of choise" This is the opening. It's called an OPINION. get over it. TF isn't Gaga's best album, TFM is but still. Besides I'd still stan for Gaga no matter how much it sold. AGAIN even if ARTPOP sold millions I'd still wouldn't like it as much as other albums because of the bad music/basic era. I don't listen to the Media really when it comes to somethings. Where are the numbers, statistics, etc...? When it comes to the OP... ARTPOP is BY FAR not underrated. Listen to indie/underground/experimental music and you will know what "underrated" really means. You basically say ARTPOP is bad as if it's law and then when I say something about the multi-platnium album TF which isn't positive you say opinions? Hypocrisy at it's best. And the Lana thing? I said Gaga is held by an incredibly high standard by her fans. If you were use to the media bashing Gaga as much as they did this era I think you'd say differently. The fact that it was released after one of the greatest albums in the history of pop music makes it underappreciated, perhaps, 'cause let's face it, it WAS a downgrade. This, this, thisssss!!
