Austin 915
We have a shot tbh. Basically what everyone else said :)
GagaDragon 10
Doesn't deserve a grammy
Guille 1,166
Zero. It is just a bad album
Psychedelic 1,098
It'll probably get a nomination in one of the dance/electronic categories, but ir has very low chances of winning... for any other category, I tink ARTPOP is doomed!
elsongalang 8
ARTPOP NOMINATIONS (70% chance) Best Pop Vocal Album- Come on! album opening with Aura, Venus and GUY? That's a Grammy material! You see, Pop category is the most experimental of all category (extreme limits of ballads to electro-dance). And Aura, Venus and GUY just exactly hit the mark (noisy yet very pop and unstructured and Grammy loves that). If ur a critic, with hundreds of albums submitted, gohd, u have to listen to 3 or 5 songs in each album only. Who would not be hooked with these songs? (80% chance) Best Pop Vocal Collaboration for DWUW- even without the video, that song kills! It sounds wonderful, sold wonderful and contains power vocals. Of all the pop collaborations released, DWUW is just a strong contender. It might even get the win! (60% chance) Best Music Video for GUY- ok, it did not slay with the views, but who cares? Grammy doesn't care! They talk about artistry, creativity. Of all the videos released, GUY is beyond the high standards of others. Production. Plot. Effects. Everything is a work of art. (35% chance) Album of the Year- some say it does not even have a chance, but I say it actually have a chance. It just sounds so different. And she's a Grammy favorite. You see, the Grammy looks for artists and not just entertainers. As for Cheek to Cheek, we will see. But it might just be the grand surprise!
Optimus 298
None tbh. If DWUW had a proper video it would have won a grammy TBH!!!
Cody Draco 2,531
Why? I'm happy with the music I like. I've had a taste of multiples genre's. They just don't work for me. And pop music isn't getting much recognition at the Grammy's to even start with when they choose rock and alternatives acts for AOTY. The fact you think only pop albums should be nominated/win AOTY... :awkney:
Tropico 4,145
The fact you think only pop albums should be nominated/win AOTY... When exactly did I say this. I just said pop isn't given a fair oppurtunity with the Grammys. ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢
Tropico 4,145
Zero. It is just a bad album ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢
Tropico 4,145
ARTPOP wasn't nearly enough critically acclaimed or popular to get any major noms. However, I do think Do What U Want has a really good chance for Best Performance by a Duo or Group. Other than that, She might get a pop category nom (if she's lucky) but Prism clearly has the upper hand, especially since they kissed Katy's ass with all the Roar noms last year. Well ARTPOP may not have been very big with critics and GP but the Grammy's aren't basing there choice on what others say. They're basing it on what it sounds like. And ARTPOP sounds good. You people have such double standards... With acts like Lana and Sam who aren't that big y'all talk about the Grammy's choosing people who aren't favored but with Gaga it's different? God, wtf? :wtf: ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢

HANZ 4,380
nah gaga will be lucky if she wins a VMA tbh 2013 was not her year, same with 2014 My Favs = Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Ricky Martin, AKB48
Tropico 4,145
Yes it is. Not really tbh because AOTY has to go to someone who's a rock star or a huge band or some alternative pop artist. The "main" or big cetergories are so bias. ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢
Whispering 18,865
Not really tbh because AOTY has to go to someone who's a rock star or a huge band or some alternative pop artist. The "main" or big cetergories are so bias. No, it doesn't. Last year, the AOTY went to an EDM album, three years ago- Pop, five years ago- Country/Pop crossover. The AOTY category can have anywhere from 20-80% of its nominees come from the Pop category. Pop is not underrepresented at the Grammys, in any way!
