When has Gaga ever waste that much money on a video? Where do you get your sources from? Twitter. Everything you read on Twitter isn't true. I don't want to get off topic too much but you seem to believe everything you read on the internet. 

 

How much did the ARTPOP film cost then? The only amount I have ever seen posted anywhere is $20 million. Do I think that is the actual amount? Probably not. Regardless, it clearly cost a lot of money to shoot that film and I feel like she is spending a lot of money and producing very little.

She promoted, she's touring, the album was good, great interviews... What more do you want? I wish Gaga fans weren't so crazy and thirsty all the time. BE HAPPY. 

 

Beyonce didn't promote **** for her visual album. Britney Spears hasn't even done a proper interview in years. Miley Cyrus completely fell off the radar after her 2nd single flopped.

Some of her spark seems to have been lost this era, it seems to be a theme throughout.
I personally tink that it may have been because she had too long to alter ARTPOP? It's SO inconsistent. Listen to TF/TFM/BTW, all of them have similar backing tracks and instrumentals and vocals. ARTPOP's is all over the place, rather mirroring this era.
The sound of the album may have been intentional, however, but I hope that she has a more planned era next time.
Have clear visions, clear singles, not necessarily a dumbed down era, but a smarter era that's executed better.
But hey, it may not be her fault. Who knows what goes on behind the scenes?
I'll always be stanning for her, no matter what.

However, I do hope she gets her ****s together because she's declining FAST, both sales wise and popularity wise, and she needs to make amends to her management if she wants the next era to be better. Gaga's weakest area is her mismanagement and lack of promotion, and management and promotion are the two most crucial departments.

This. Reading things like "well, if only she released good music..." pisses me off more than anything. Like, just... shut up.

The quality of the album is not even worth arguing about. "Applause" was a respectable hit, everyone knows the song by now, and it's (arguably) not even the best or most unique song on the album. Same with "DWUW", which suffered due to lack of a video. The problem with this era was planning, and the means to get the music out to people.

And Gaga is so ambitious. She just doesn't sell out to the GP like you want her to. She's done 7... SEVEN promo concerts this era. That is A LOT. She does a lot of promotion. And it's just G.U.Y. I don't really give a rats ass how Gaga stacks up on the Celebrity Meter.  I am a fan for primarily one reason... her magnificent voice.  Her voice convinced me even though I didn't particularly like most of her singles.  Everything else is bonus.  As long as she releases music, preferably that showcases that voice, and does live performances, I'm good. 

 

She can "mess around" all she wants.  Just keep trying new things and finding new ways to express herself.

 

You guys act like promoting 24/7 is the key to everything... but it's possible "The GP" just doesn't particularly like her music at the moment.   **** happens.  I don't think she should change her approach as an artist just to appease bean counters at Interscope, and all the bean counters among her fans.

She won't keep messing around.  A lot of the ARTPOP messiness and scheduling problems came from her management shakeup.  People always seem to forget about that.  Now that she and Bobby are getting settled in at Artist Nation everything should be a lot smoother.

What can she perform? I understand all of this but people keep saying she needs to perform or she needs to promote. Promote what exactly? She's on tour. She doesn't have a new single coming out. The ARTPOP era is dead. People act like they can't comprehend that this era is over. She has moved on to C2C. Maybe she would perform somewhere and promote something from ARTPOP if there was something to promote. The ship has sailed but people just keeping holding on to maybe there being a new single from ARTPOP when that isn't going to happen. 

She performed GUY live ONCE on TV, and only twice (roseland ballroom) total besides the tour. I mean no wonder it flopped!

 

And Paparazzi was released as a single while she was on tour and did amazingly and she has so many live performances, WITH an awesome video! But now, she cancels a month of tour dates so she can perform with Tony a couple of times and thats all that comes of it. FameGa, TFMGa, BTWGa, could all have made so many great projects or videos, or at least a gagavision, in that time.

I am two trolls away from leaving GGD because this just isn't productive anymore. All you guy do is complain. And it saddens me that there might be a time when Gaga forums are full of people who are only there to reminisce about 2010 and complain that she isn't like that anymore.

There is more to Stefani Germanotta than that and she doesn't deserve to have her talent be measured by the amount of promo she does or how much the GP talks about her. Dude this is seriously a tragedy. Being heckled by your own fans for not caring about the top spot anymore.
