A lot this era has been lackluster and it shows badly by the recognition it gets. Eh...that's the way it goes in a long term career. Sometimes you get recognized for your work, sometimes it gets ignored. That doesn't mean you should panic and change your artistic vision to try and get awards.That's the exact opposite of what a true artist would ever do! Awards are nice...when you get them, but they should never be the goal and they should never be the driving force behind the creation of the art.
