That's my favourite Bette Davis film, an absolute classic! The character of Baby Jane is very similar to Norma Desmond, it's definitely Bette at her best! Good grief I hated the character Baby Jane, haha. If only Blanche had succeeded in what she originally set out to do in the beginning of the movie and Jane hadn't moved out of the way. Bette Davis did a great job portraying Baby Jane in that film, though. But I think I prefer Norma Desmond over Baby Jane. Maybe it's because Norma Desmond was an actual decaying star who simply sought adoration, whereas Baby Jane was just a spoiled brat who was truly bitter to the core.
