It is as important to know what is behind you as it is to know what is in front of you. I do think the sentence was overly harsh tho. Mars..........or bust! As horrible as it is driving and hitting an animal - it's safer :/ Erm, It's the motorcyclists fault for not driving far enough away from her car to slow down. She was a little silly parking the car in the middle of the motorway, but chevrons are there for a reason. Furthermore, if she had time to stop and get out, that should have been more than enough for someone to see and slow down their vehicle. And to anyone saying that people are more important than animals, well Nope,it's not allowed to park on the highway. It's one of the first things you learn in driver school. Because I am one ,so I know what I am talking about. mess, that's not special And then that's their issue, I would never drive so fast that if someone in front of me was to slow down, stop and get out that I wouldn't be able to slow down myself, or at least swerve.
