Um... no. :smh:

She was literally d--gged and auctioned off to the mafia in Bad Romance.

She wore a meat dress to an awards show.

She has smoked joints on stage.

She murdered an entire diner via poison in Telephone.

She murdered her boyfriend in Paparazzi.

This is the last thing that is going to ruin her career. :lmao:

Relax... I'm joking. This bull**** is not going to ruin her career.

Why does it matter a man sang it?

Is Gaga asking to be rapped? I don't think she would make a song promoting herself being rapped...

Robin Thick's song is must certainly about pressuring women and forcing himself on them.

Idk what world you live in, but in reality men rape women 99.9% of the time. (heteros-xually)

The video is basically ****. It's rapey, and so is the song. Gaga's career is about to come to an end.

you don't get the song at all, its not about rape, its about her being a puppet to the people in the music industry who (ab)used her in the past.

MJHolland is probably implying double standards rooted on male- and masculine-centric normativity and s-xism in our culture, particularly in media and music culture.

"And I didn't see TMZ up in flames over Blurred Lines, a song that's literally about rape and sung by a man..."

He's saying that they should've been out raged and implying that it should been more offensive coming from a man.

Are you serious :toofunny:

"I know you want it"

:smh:

This goes back to the mixed messages I talked about before.  Let's not pretend like people don't play hard to get.  It really does happen.  Sure, he might be pushy but we don't know the context if she's being flirty or saying no.  If she were saying no, then yes, it is rapey.  There is no indication or suggestion of her saying no or resisting, only him continuing to try.  But if she's being flirty, well, that's how flirting goes.  Are you going to condemn flirting and playing hard to get?

Yeah, no. It's not always men raping women. In fact 4.8% of men (1 in 21) have been raped in the US have been abused s-xually (rape) by a women. + Men are treated worse after rape then women by the legal system and the public.mSo your comment doesn't make sense.

A study done by the CDC found that 1 in 21 men (4.8%) reported that they had been forced to penetrate someone else, a woman; had been the victim of an attempt to force penetration; or had been made to receive oral s-x.[24]

Two myths that men are not able to be raped by women include: Men always want s-x, so women do not have to force themselves on men, and men must be aroused to have an erection.[29] However, much like female erectile response, male erectile response is involuntary,[30][31] meaning that a man need not be aroused for his penis to become erect and be placed in a woman's vagina; mechanical stimulation is all that is necessary. Arousal and stimulation are not the same thing. Stimulation is a physical response to a stimulus. For example, when a person steps on another person's toe, the stimulation felt is pain and there is nothing that can be done about this. Men can be physically stimulated without feeling aroused and thus causing an erection. Men can be scared and intimidated into one, especially if the person is older or an authority.[29]

Male victims of s-xual abuse by females[32] often face social, political, and legal double standards.[33][34] Gender-neutral laws have combated the perception that rape rarely occurs to men,[35] and other laws have eliminated the term rape altogether.[36] In 1978 in the UK, Joyce McKinney was sentenced to 12 months in prison for forcing a man to have s-x with her while chained up. With the prospect of male s-xual victimization presenting itself in the media, the primary myths and facts about rape against can be accessible to the public. Many of the myths about male s-xual victims are centered on cultural and s-xual stereotypes that a proportion of society holds against victims. Some of the major myths about male s-xual victims include the following: boys and men cannot be victims, most s-xual abuse of boys is committed by gay males, boys are less traumatized than girls, and physical arousal by boys means that they were willingly participating in the encounter.[37] Each of these myths can be countered by sociological, psychological and scientific evidence.

but I just showed men are raped as well (1 in 21!) and people aren't as Sympathetic with men.

And yes it is horrific and its s-xist that Robin being a man makes it more offensive.

no it's not. Men rape women waaayyyyy more frequently than (if) women (could) rape men.

Again, why would Gaga be asking to get raped?
