gagaisitalian 3,573
As weird as this is, I LOVED the Roseland lighting. Granted, I was at a Roseland show and I have not yet been to artRave. The Roseland lighting game me life. It replenished my soul and repented for my sins.
Howl 2
I was gonna say BTWB, because of the castle lighting during Electric Chapel, which was amazing But definitely artRAVE. It has an incredible lighting.

HANZ 4,380
I was going to say the artrave but it's impressive how they made the castle for the BTWBALL have all those colors and lighting even though the castle didn't have an screen in it or was made of it so the BTW ball :worship2: My Favs = Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Ricky Martin, AKB48

AbuHassan1992 766
can you please explain why? I'm not judging, it is just that you don't have the obvious opinion that everyone (including me) goes for so... it would be interesting if you tell us why you choose those I'll talk about the monster ball first. I think the lighting really enchances the performances in a way the artrave doesn't. To me, personally, it seems messy and I'm not that big a fan of lasers. Back to the mb, for example, I love the just dance performance. How you only see gaga's and the dancers' silhouettes, because of the fog and the lighting from behind. I Also love the paper gangsta lighting and the eh, eh, lighting, and during the whole show, it's obvious they spent a long time designing it, because it's really intricate and transforms the stage in a way, with the use of patterns and very distinct coloring. I also love the lighting in the fame ball, especially during paparazzi and lovegame. In my opinion, the lighting for the artrave is sort of bland, and I can't really tell the difference between performances based on the lighting, which I can in previous tours, not because of set pieces or costumes but the lighting. To be honest, it just seems rushed and like they quickly threw something together.
