JOROMonster 5 Posted May 21, 2014 Share Posted May 21, 2014 WARNING: THIS WILL BE A LONG POST After having tickets for The Monster Ball, I wasnt able to go. I was number 33 in line in Chicago when Gaga tweeted the unfortunate news. So yesterday was my FIRST Gaga concert!! I was so excited! I got there Monday at around 2pm. I was number 7 in the LMZ line. There in line I met some really awesome girls I'd like to consider my friends now. At around 6pm security said we had to leave the Xcel Energy Center property. We moved across the street and sat on the side walk until 6am Tuesday.The weather was quite chilly but bearable. At 6am we were told we could go back in. I took a nap from like 6:30am to around 9am. At around noon I went to my hotel and changed into my outfit. I came back and got back in line. At around 5:30 they registered us for LMZ. We got in line, which went by two (side by side with someone). After A while we were let onto the floor. It was very organized and no one ran. I got right in the middle at the barricade. After 30 minutes Hatsune Miku came on. I thought it was pretty good. Then after 15 minutes Starlight came on. At this point I thought it was taking forever. Finally GAGA! When ARTPOP started I began to shake. Then right in front of me she began to rise. She looked so perfect so great it was unreal. After the first three songs I so tired haha. i think the "Nein Zedd" part in G.U.Y. gave me whiplash lmao. I almost lost it when Gaga pointed at me during MANiCURE! I also caught a stuffed animal when they threw them out using the cannon. Everything else seems like a blur. Except after Aura. I will never forget the moment when she read my letter and sang the Queen for my sister afterwards. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfDfNjf9XWI The rest of the show I felt like she kept giving me sweet eyes. After the show I was told to go stand by the ARTPOP Zone people with the one person I chose to come with me. I Chose one of the girls i met in line. We were then taken to a room where they gave us water, I was so thirsty I finished it right away. I then asked for a gatorade . There, me and my friend Ashley(also a GGD Mod) waited until the Gagadaily mods and Emma finished being with Gaga. We were the last two to meet her. i was so nervous. I wanted to cry again lol. I held it in though. We went in and she gave me a big hug. She told me the letter was great. And that my sister is a strong woman. I wanted to cry when she said that but I kept pushing it back. We then took a picture in front of the ARTPOP poster and she signed the vest. Then Ashley took a picture and had some CD booklets signed. Heres the vest signed (and the stuffed animal) it says: "Jose, Born This Way #artRAVE". She made my name rhyme! After all of that me and Ashley were escorted out. We then met up with the other girls that were waiting down by the ramp where we thought Gaga was going to leave from. Which she did. She saw us and immediately pulled over. We told her how she brought all of us together and how all of us are from different parts of the world and it was because of Gaga that we met. She really loved that. She then suggested to us to have a group picture taken. Her body guard took it for us. Well he had to take like 3 cause he didn't know how to put the flash on, on an iPhone . She then told us she loved us and its great that we became friends. heres the group pic So all of that, that I said could be compressed into five words: BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE. I had a great few days in St. Paul and meeting these gals was one of the best parts. I am so thankful that they befriended me when I came alone to the artRAVE.
