Bye 3,947
If she's not gonna say it to her face, I don't see the point of saying it to a million other people who are not even involved in the actual situation. The point is she might feel the need to let people know that someone is ripping her off.
Didymus 34,379
The point is she might feel the need to let people know that someone is ripping her off. That's like Madonna calling Gaga reductive after 6 months of social media chaos.

chromadica 636
Katy is not a sweetheart. She's shaded Gaga before, she's shamed other pop girls in general, she's famous for making a song that trivialized bis-xuality and she is guilty of recycling Gaga's ideas and making them child-friendly since 2010. It's not so much that I don't like Katy Perry, because I do, but I feel like Gaga's 'shade' wasn't really uncalled for. I would be bitter too. Plus, I think we've blown the tweet out of proportion. Nothing terrible has been said.
Didymus 34,379
Situation was different given that Gaga didn't rip Madonna off. I agree with that. But their mindset was the same. They both knew their fanbases had been discussing the subjects for months and decided to add flames to the fire and to attract social media attention even though they both said extremely nice things about their opponents. In that sense, yes, I agree. Still given that Katy actually did rip Gaga off I like it when someone seemingly untouchable gets called out for it. The media should do it more often when it's warranted instead of when it was not like in Gaga's case.
Gagz 2,579
I'm perfectly fine with her defending herself against media and critics, but I don't like seeing her attack other artists, especially if they've been nothing but nice about her. I still say that only delusional minds will think green hair and a horse are copied.

Well, we do agree on that ;) Even though I wasn't convinced with the green hair thing (Katy actually did the green hair thing in a magazine shoot years ago) and I don't remember what the other thing was, regardless of this specific situation, I do agree. craig 680
There are other ways to do that in my opinion. You want her to pretend to be all sweet in public, but hire an Angela Cheung to go after Katy? Have her friends and publicists do the dirty work, like in the old days?
Didymus 34,379
You want her to pretend to be all sweet in public, but hire an Angela Cheung to go after Katy with lies? Have her friends and publicists do the dirty work, like in the old days? Why not contact her personally? Or at least direct the tweet to her directly? badboymonsterx 540
honestly dont u think the media is blowing this up a bit? I do agree though that gaga shouldn't give haters the time, but i do like that she's standing up for herself too...there is a big difference
craig 680
Why not contact her personally? Or at least direct the tweet to her directly? What would that accomplish? Gaga isn't demanding that Katy change her tour. No evidence she'd even mad at her.
