tokyodisko 0
I can't pick an order or just five!! SO I did six and my other picks. These include lyrics of all types- fun, deep, etc. I tried picking songs that are held up by the lyrics and not the music. Fever - fun, s-xy, and well written. You and I - just flawless no matter how it's been performed. (the Indiana version slays me. Homestate! :D ) Dance in the Dark - the lyrics create such a great picture. Speechless - beautifully written and emotional. I Like It Rough - the song is a lot deeper than people think. Not a favorite, but definitely in her top lyrics. Princess Die - gorgeoussss. The way she contrasts the depressed feelings with glamorized, romanticized ideas society holds Partynauseous (from what we have heard) - fun and meaningful! Mary Jane Holland - because cheap gin. Rockshow - everything is on point in this. Tight lyrics and flow. Fooled Me Again - obvious reasons. The Fame - it's one of the best satires/commentaries on "fame" and celebrity status. Bad Romance - the lyrics are beautifully layered, but not in the top five, but the lyrics without the music and image are not her strongest, despite it being one of my absolute favorites.
