Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen

They're really too different to compare....

Gaga is more versatile, but Adele is easier to understand and is on point always.

Hmmmm.

They're both different, Gaga is more versatile but Adele's belting notes are flawless. If I had to pick one I think it would be Adele.

Gaga on a piano really putting her all into it > Adele.

Adele sings more "skillfully" typically, but thats a matter of the type of music. Adele's singing voice, imo, is very monotone in that she basically sounds the same on every song. There is not much character put into her singing other than blunt emotiveness. Or maybe its just the timber of her voice that makes it not noticable for me. Don't get me wrong, emotion in songs is great and a sign of an invested singer, but the flat "im sad! or "im In love! or "Im bitter about love" Is all i hear in Adele's voice and i want to hear something different, it starts to blend together. Gaga tends to sing with more character (and really she just writes more varied things) and matches the mood of the songs atmosphere much better.

I'm bias, but i also just like Gaga's voice more, except when she growls high notes because i know she can hit them without it :P

Adeles low notes > Gaga's though.

The gp is gonna laugh at the comparisons, but actually imo Adele's vocals are over-rated (only 2 octaves?), and Gaga's vocals are underrated, especially since her vocals recently are on FIRE, and she's still evolving

Can't we say that they're both genius vocalists, and leave it at that?

Adele is not consistent live. Gaga is truly on point every time.

SXSW and Judas on Ellen say hi.

I've never seen Adele "off".

Honestly, although I think that Adele has a good voice, I've always found her a little overrated.
