Hello Mr. Radio 45
ARTPOP has to sell 300k until it reaches platinum, then we can finally put this era to rest. Platinum certification is a nice benchmark as to whether an album was a flop or a success, and I believe that it always looks much nicer when an artist can say that their last album (or in this case, all their albums) has gone platinum. While the album sales are slowly increasing thanks to the tour exposure, she still has a bit of a way to go. Let’s get creative. How would you push those last 300k copies? Since it’s too late to bundle albums with tickets, this is what I would do. This fall, re-release the album: - ARTPOP: Masterpiece Edition – Includes original album (with Swine, Dope, Aura and MJH reworked to sound more like the live versions ), 8 new songs, 5 remixes. $7.99. If you purchased the original album on iTunes, you can complete your album for only $3.99. - artRAVE Blu-Ray Combo Pack – Includes the concert, behind the scenes, and the album. - ARTPOP: The Complete Experience – Includes the masterpiece album, the concert blu-ray, - and ARTPOP The Remix (also sold separately) in a nice collectors box, like she did for BORN THIS WAY. Klou 2,414
The only way would be a re-release and a price drop (which won't happen). Sad thing is a re-release would cost around $
