I'm sure I read, he actually filmed the whole time. Aw dude, there is bound to be someone who caught it on camera for YouTube!

I actually think it was a bit disrespectful too.

my issue with her attitude about selfies is that SHE POSTS SELFIES ALL THE TIME.

Yes she does, but in this situation it upset her :smh:

Just to clarify... he was from GA. He had a sign that said "Can I come sit with you?" on 8.5x11 sheet of paper. She saw it and had security bring him up.

She told people in FL to put their cell phones down during Venus. It would upset me as an artist as well if people seemed more concerned with their phones/recording/sending out pics than with the show I was putting on.

I get that people wanna take pics to remember the night by, but I mean for the whole show it's a bit much. I've been to multiple shows of many artists before and usually in the first one I'll take a few pics (like maybe 10-15 over the whole night), but then the next time I don't need to and can enjoy because I already have the pics to remember the events by.

she only dislikes them while performing... Again, if you're gonna go to a concert and stare at your phone the whole time taking pictures and/or videos, why not stay home and watch videos of the performance?! Waste of money tbh. Her Roseland show was absolutely RIDICULOUS with people having their giant a** phones right in her face. Disrespectful.

lol just a point... if you're telling people to stay home and watch vids of the performances, how are they gonna do that if no one is actually taking vids? ;) But I get what you mean. During Roseland you could watch her performing on the stream through peoples phones at times. hahaha

I thought this too. I saw his Twitter, and there was a picture of him by the Absolut ARTPOP Lounge.

If I were sitting by her, I wouldn't be lying if I said I wouldn't take a selfie or too on Snapchat. After that I would just sit next to her in awe and probably freaking out.

One of his friends on ATRL spilled some serious tea about what a douche he apparently is too

What did they say

good. It's getting annoying when she sings close to people and instead of watch the entire crowd is looking at their phones... That's NOT what a live performance is supposed to be about and it's NOT how you respect a live performer either

The official stream of roseland was a mess when she got down and sang near the audience. You could hardly see her face because everyone had their phones straight up filming her. It's just like, if you're going to a concert and all you do is stare at your phone because it's filming her, then why go at all?

A live performance is a live performance because of one thing. It's LIVE!!! It's not supposed to be experienced like that by design! That's what the album is for! There are plenty of performances that are professionally filmed and can easily be watched online. But the live AUDIENCE says to watch an artist LIVE, not through a screen showing her picture lol!

when I was onstage with gaga the last thing I thought was to ask for a photo or to go backstage or even talk to her

Good. Taking a selfie would be the last thing I'd do onstage with Gaga! Enjoy the moment, hundreds of people in the audience will be taking pics/filming it so it's not as though there's gonna be no record of it.

I feel for him in a way, i mean its the moment of a lifetime and no camera in the room will be able to capture what his will. At the same time though, sometimes its best to just let your memory do the work, ad this definitley was impolite of him to do

It wasn't one picture.... it was 5 ****ing minutes of taking selfies and probably recording.

Yeah, exactly. I'm sure she was fine with the initial selfie that he took, however, the fact he went on to record the next 5 minutes of the show while he was ON STAGE with her in front of THOUSANDS of people is baffling to me.

The kid seems really sweet and I'm sure he just wanted to remember the moment because you could tell how genuinely excited he was, but, at the same time, he should've just enjoyed every moment of that because that is absolut-ly, 100% a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Honestly, if I were in his position, I don't think I would've been able to maintain enough composure to even get my phone out of my pocket lmao.
