Lana Winters 757
I called my work and one of my managers said we'll see what they can do tomorrow when I go in. If they can't, well...
Arturo 40,746
What if some people don't realize the concerts were rescheduled and they head out on the original date only to find out it's a basketball game omg that breaks my heart I think they'll realize a Gaga concert isn't happening that day when a bunch of 30 year old straight guys are there with Wizards Jerseys. OMFG IMAGINE SOME QUEEN GOES ALL DRESSED UP TO THE WIZARDS GAME I called my work and one of my managers said we'll see what they can do tomorrow when I go in. If they can't, well... Hope everything works out

OMFG IMAGINE SOME QUEEN GOES ALL DRESSED UP TO THE WIZARDS GAME Hope everything works out Well yeah Obvs but the date was rescheduled for a couple of days before the game therefore they would realize that they missed the concert date somehow when they find themselves at a Wizards game instead of Lady Gaga's artrave :flop:

chips99 3
Been looking forward to the Philly show since I got my tickets last year for the LittleMonsters pre-sale. Now I won't be able to go because of the rescheduled date. One of my other friends already had to be out of town, and now the other person I was supposed to go with will be out of town for work as well. I have no way to get to the venue without either of them. :-( We also had tickets for the BTW Ball last year, but we all know that Gaga was injured and cancelled her Philly date last year as well. I saw her once back in 2010 and since then I think the universe is telling me I'm not meant to see her in person again. Seriously bummed here, was in tears when I heard the date change this afternoon. I know it's "just a concert," to some but not me. I hope to live vicariously through all the vines, videos, and pictures all the monsters post online.

mermaidpants 0
.....do y'all even realize that playoffs have to work around EVERY other team's schedule, AND television schedules? Playoff dates were set months ago, when Gaga was booked everyone knew perfectly well that she would have to reschedule if the Wizards made it to the playoffs. Blame Gaga's team, not the venue. They knew what they were getting into when they booked the date.

Lana Winters 757
Then be pissed off at Live Nation, but it's not the venue's fault. I never once said it was the venues fault. I'm simply saying that if the concert had to be rescheduled because of the playoffs (and yes, I understand television time, etc) then you do not mess with another show that everyone has plans for and has no reason to be rescheduled. You can reschedule the Washington D.C show into the gap in June to the point where people have more of a chance to going and not mess with the Philly show. Now more people are going to lose out. If I don't get my days off switched tomorrow then btwb melt down 2.0 for real.

They don't care about people's plans, they care about what's easier for them. Additionally (and I don't know exactly how this works) but I think if they add it in to the scheduled breaks then they're messing with employee contracts. And they don't want the people working the tour getting pissed that it's cutting into their time off.
itschino1 66
Then be pissed off at Live Nation, but it's not the venue's fault. The fact is that the stupid ball game is in D.C. and Philadelphia has nothing to do with it... NOTHING! The lack of logic and empathy for us fans who paid a lot of money is just unbelievable. Plans had been made, hotels had been booked, this is just INSANE. I'm will now have to shoulder $200 because my friend cannot go with me because of the rescheduled date. I've been trying to sell it, but no one will buy it nor is available that day. THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING! For four hours now, I've been doing damage control... The things that I have to go through to support an artist that you believe in... let me tell you.
giskardsb 12,565
It sucks for those are can't go now, I feel sorry for you guys. It sucks that Live Nation had to reschedule Philly too, it's probably a logistical issue since both venues are fairly close and they probably have two stage setups in the vicinity, it made more sense for them to just swap dates rather than the huge expense and pain of a complete reschedule. Unfortunately for a company like Live Nation that makes much more sense even when they know a certain percentage of former attendees will have issues. Anybody with tickets should call Live Nation and talk to them about it. It's basically the same as when airlines overbook. Live Nation took a risk that didn't work out. Gaga got bumped. You can guarantee that somewhere in the contract it said that sports events may take priority. The big problem is that a Gaga show takes time to setup and tear down, so it's not just a conflict with one day but multiple days since basketball playoffs are a best of 7 series. Live Nation does not give half a **** if attendees have a problem with it. It all goes down to what's easier/less expensive for them.
