​Same, I kinda skipped over The Sims 3 , had The Sims 2...so I have nothing to compared 4 with I find it's a real good game. I feel it's a full game release of the one they had done for iOS (possibly android to?) with the emotions tied into the characters but I still like it. Can't wait for the expansion....probably going to get Outdoor Retreat in the next few days to tie me over until April

I tried the game with the free trial and thought that it was pretty well-made! I didn't play much of The Sims 3, so I don't really mind some of the current missing things.

I'll probably buy it, but I don't like giving EA my money.

​Very much so, I can understand why some people are a little disapointed if they really got into The Sims 3 and having it changed in The Sims 4 but it's still a pretty awesome game. can't wait for the first expansion!

I bought the game + the game pack + the expansion, so basically I just bought my ticket to EAhell.

​Well I decided to continue with the sim that I made during the free trial, so for now I'm focused on making him a musician lol, but I'll probably make one of his kids open a store (though I gotta start by finding him a hubby, so that's not going to happen any time soon  ).

Yeah, I remember losing progress all the time back in the days of The Sims (1).

​That sucks! i've had the game crash twice on me so far since the expansion. But loving it so far!

I LOVE Get To Work. I'm obsessed with Retail shops and the Scientist career, I've been collecting stuff like never before. It's seriously one of the best expansion packs and I hope they get better and better. I knew Sims 4 had the potential to become better than Sims 3, and I still need to see how that works, but so far, this game has made me fall in love with it, just like 15 years ago when I played the original game and ever since then.

You know, with both Outdoor Retreat and Get to Work, the new CAS items are sooooooooooo good so far imo!!  I looked through some of the CAS parts from sims 3 expansions, and it seems like in 4 we get more + they look better 

 

Also I think I'm liking the detective career the best, aside from running my own store..........I'm a little frustrated with my store because I'm not the most creative builder so my store looks a little plain at the moment lol
