It's probably why she's more selective about when she shows herself these days. In a recent interview she said that one of the things that hurt her in 2012-2014 was people telling her they just wanted her to look beautiful... Well most of those people were her own fans. As a result, she deliberately makes herself look ugly. People don't get that. It's a **** you to all the people who try to tell her she needs to look beautiful in order to be valuable. I feel like at that time, she was having troubles with her own self-perception of beauty, what with her saying that in correlation with all the lip injections. Just my guess. I do feel like, at times, she did do direct **** you's to the media.
