Kermit the frog 1,921 Posted April 26, 2014 Share Posted April 26, 2014 I hate that everyone focuses so much on getting backstage, I kind of hope she doesn't do it because last time people cried because they didn't get backstage and didn't care that they were seeing her live, all the attention was on meeting her and it really ruins the buzz lol This lol. I love how she is kind enough to pick people to go backstage but this time its different because there is a m&g package so hopefully those not in AP zone just let go and enjoy the show. The problem with what you're talking about is that those people EXPECT to go backstage and are disappointed when it doesn't happen. There are so many people that the chances of being picked are very slim. Next time they should walk in remembering that. **** yes, I'm going to try. But if it doesn't work out, i still got to see an amazing show! And some fans aren't even that lucky because Gaga isn't going to their country. They should have been grateful that Gaga was there and they were able to see her live. Yesss, like I've no problem with people wanting and trying to get backstage as long as they realise it probably won't happen and don't expect it to happen. Good luck! Now there are people paying $1,500 (including me) to meet her, and the last thing we need is GaGa taking time out of our meet and greets to meet other people for free. GaGa is the only person who brings people backstage for free, so to expect that from every tour is ridiculous. And yes, I know she said she would bring 20 people backstage at every artRave show, but that was ages ago and I hope she's realized that that's not realistic without pissing the ARTPOP Zone people off or completely exhausting herself. Hearing all the different stories and people pouring their hearts out to her, and having to sit for 2+ hours just doing that... idk. Didn't that happen at MB 1.0? People have always said that the meet and greets drained her. True. But BTWB was cut short. She should pick 20 people to go backstage with her in the area's where BTWB was canceled I think that would be a fair deal, but my BTWB show wasn't cancelled so I'm sure people who from New York etc. who bought ARTPOP Zone wouldn't be entirely happy about that. I've never met her before and some of my friends have multiple times.. and we are still going to the artrave with no intention of this happening. Gaga knows that is a lot of money and that it's not easy to come up with that amount of $$$. She will definitely make it worth while knowing that you support her that much. I guarantee she won't pick that many people. I'm thinking 5-7. Even then, their time with her will not be like your time. I see it being like, "here's a picture, i signed this, thank you for your kind words.....and that's it" for the fans she picks.
