bornthisway135 429
Hey everyone. On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, I had a feeling of equality run through my veins. I thought, "Peace. It doesn't mean to be in a place where there's no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart. So, today should be a simple day, for a simple song, and a simple request - Equality." So with that in mind, I went ahead and made this campfire-sing-a-long type re-edit of Born This Way. What I did: 1) I used the acoustic guitar stems from Born This Way (Country Roads Version) 2) I added a piano stem, played by me. 3) I added a clap and tambourine kit to it. 4) I added a ambient vinyl background noise. It sounds very simple, but that was what I was going for. My computer's uploader has been acting up these days, so I could only upload an MP3 version of the song. I am hoping within the next few weeks it will speed up so I can release the original WAV file of the song. In the meantime, enjoy this version! Feedback would be great? :D Thanks! http://www.mediafire...8lf0t3odyqv36tg --- Born This Way (Mississippi River Acoustic Edit) ALSO!! Check out my R&B-esque version of Electric Chapel and my Dance/Techno version of Judas, if you haven't already. http://www.mediafire...pdin8bc38ditmbw --- Electric Chapel (New York, New York Mix) http://www.mediafire...c5d1btc5pt59tvk --- Judas (4LGBT Remix) [2011 Edit]

BornToSlay 48
I think this is better than the "Country Roads Version" :) I completely agree, I'm one of the few people who like the Country Road version too. The EC and Judas mixes are pretty good too, I'm looking forward to more
bornthisway135 429
Wow, thank you all for responding positively! I understand how you wouldn't like the tambourine, but it's my favorite percussion instrument. Haha. This and Electric Chapel are my favorites of what I have done. I'm still working with Heavy Metal Lover and Fashion of His Love.

bornthisway135 429
The accapella is the exact same as the normal one. For some reason, when your take out the 4/4 beat, her voice just swings like that!
