I know I read somewhere that she'd like to bring the tour back to the UK in aid of the BTW Foundation, but I haven't heard anything more on the subject.

It's not a rumour, she mentioned that she'd LIKE to do it. What she'd like to do and what's practical are two completely opposing things most of the time, I'm afraid.

For some reason my mind is leaning towards the SXSW interview. She never said London, just bringing it back for charity -> BTWF

Of course she probably has a few bad memories in regards to her hip injury. But that tour was revolutionary and its so painful to have never gotten to see it. 

Fingers crossed something might happen.
