2012 says hi, 2013 says hi.

They said BTW would have won without Adele's 21 in 2012. She was at the ceremony (even if she didn't performed or showed up on the carpet)

In 2013 : she hadn't any new record...

This is a mean thread.

I mean, I understand how it's your own opinion that Katy Perry isn't quality music; however, some people on this forum love Katy (including me) and this is considered flame-bait.

Even though I Despise KP, had she released Walking on Air or Legendary Lovers as a single and to the Grammy submissions, she could've easily won a Grammy. She might win one for Pop Duo/Group so don't leave her out just yet!

Ray of Light

I was once like you. Then I saw the light. I accepted my denial. I let the vibrant rays in. Katy will proposer. And her first Grammy next year will be the beginning of a new era, a point of no return in pop music. Get ready GGD. Get ready. She's coming at you like a dark horse.

Write what you want, say what you want 'bout me. If you're wondering, know that I'm not sorry...

Even if they're submissions, some songs should be on the jazz category.
By the way, I don't see any possibilities for ARTPOP in general, let's be real, Grammys have became also about popularity not only quality, they totally snubbed 'Applause' that was also a moderate hit last year, I don't think they're gonna give some nominations to the rest.

The only hope is for C2C in some minor categories, but better stay prepared for nothing.

Dope is a little left field, but other than this I think they did a great job with submissions.

I think the best bets for wins are

DWUW for Best Pop Duo (critics always loved it, and it has enough name recognition to have a chance)

G.U.Y. for Best Music Film

Lush Life for Best Pop Solo Performance (stunning vocals)

Cheek to Cheek for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album
