Phoebe Buffay 12,525 Posted January 11, 2018 Share Posted January 11, 2018 I wanted to make this thread because I've seen many people dragging this album to the pits of hell, when this album is nearly as good as her older albums.  Imo, this is one of the few albums that didn't deserve to flop, alongside with ARTPOP, Witness, Glory, Bionic and LOVE?. The hypnotic, but dark Lotus Intro, the dance-inspired Your Body, Let There Be Love, Army of Me, Just a Fool, Around the World, Red Hot Kinda Love, the beautiful ballads such as Blank Page, Cease Fire... Lol. My faves are LOTUS INTRO (ask @that juju lol), Army Of Me, Red Hot Kinda Love, CEASE FIRE (yes!), Around The World and Make The World Move. Her choice for second single killed the album.  And sure she oversings the HELL out this album but who cares?!  I still listen to it all the time.  The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than The Driver Of The Screw Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Cease Fire = another terrific balladesque song. Red Hot Kinda Love = Back to Basics but modern! I love the vibe. Let There Be Love = THE banger of the album. Around the World = Another banger.
