I mean, many of her videos are long. Not just a song. Because of that people are not streaming it, when they see that video is 8-10-12 minutes long. 5B is very good and impressive. Especially that she was at her peak way before streaming era started for real. If she had like 2-3 big hits in 2015/2016, those numbers would be muuuuuch bigger. But she hadn't. And it's ok.

Not necessarily. Look at Demi and Nick Jonas. They've been releasing music that sounds current their entire careers and still can't get a hit

Oh,btw,Gaga's only generic side is The Fame,which was her debut,and ever since The Fame,she's not generic anymore.The Cure is also not as generic as people say it is,I haven't heard any song exactly sounding like it.

With songs like Closer, Despacito, Gangnam Style having billions of views, I really don't care that much about views anymore.

These are global sensations that found their way to global popularity, it does not establish them as legends.

Gaga has an average 150-300 million views per video (Judas - 280m, Applause - 297m, Perfect Illusion - 107m, You and I - 118m, The Edge of Glory - 115m), I find that enough.

Tbh G.U.Y and Million Reasons both have around 130m views each if you combine the audio and video versions.

I completely agree that's not a big deal even if I think she could do better with a song that becomes a hit song ! She could definitely boost those numbers with a big hit song

I agree with this tbh. (IF she's still aiming for commercial success and by her reaction to MR becoming a #4 hit, we can tell that she still wants them hits)
