Yeah there are definitely a lot of things in there that I didn't hear on the first few listens, but they give it a lot of texture. The production is rich yet sounds subtle, they must've spent quite some time fine tuning. Sonically the pre-chorus is my favorite part, like many of you have said: the angelic "so baby tell me yes" vocals with that groovy guitar, instant feel-good vibes. "And when you say you're ok, I'm gonna heal you anyway" ... I guess each one of us could write a whole essay about what thoughts that lyric provokes. And she hid that in the middle of such a sweet tune... Hmm look at me talking up TC to myself.
