Apple Music has chosen Abracadabra as the best pop song released this year! The song was added at #1 to the playlist “A-List Pop: Best of 2025”. Garden Of Eden is also featured at #7. The following text has been published by the streaming service: A-List Pop is your weekly guide to what’s on top in pop music—and 2025 was undeniably the year of Lady Gaga. It began with her appearance in a commercial during the Grammys, when Gaga teased a song that set the tone for her highly anticipated return and signalled that her seventh studio album MAYHEM was arriving soon. With its infectious and haunting chorus, “Abracadabra” cast a spell on 2025 and made it abundantly clear: Mother Monster was officially back. MAYHEM further solidified her status as a living legend as she returned to her pop roots and the sound that is so distinctly Gaga. During her world tour, The MAYHEM Ball, Gaga delivered a theatrical spectacle, once again showcasing that she is still very much one of the greatest performers of all time. And then there was her original track for Season 2 of Netflix’s Wednesday. “The Dead Dance” played a key role in the show, in addition to becoming a perfect song for the spooky season. “I always want to be remembered for being a real artist and someone who cares so much,” she told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. Check back often, as our editors update this playlist regularly—and if you hear something you like, add it to your library, and remember, paws up for Gaga. https://x.com/AppleMusic/status/199045178413826094068 points

After performing just Shallow and ARUTW live ever since ASIB, she has finally done another song: IS THAT ALRIGHT? She dedicated it to her fans and Michael. I love the arrangement they used! https://x.com/lmonsterreacts/status/1990898483138613536?s=46&t=ppjsE61OVKWklgvWon0vmw Full vid:41 points

https://www.goldderby.com/odds/combined-odds/grammy-awards-2026/ Additionally, Disease is at #2 for Pop Solo after Sabrina Carpenter's Manchild, and Harlequin is at #2 after Elton John and Brandi Carlile's Who Believes in Angels? The prediction for Best Pop Dance Recording (Abracadabra) is not included but the song is thought to be a frontrunner.38 points

Elon Musk is on track to become the world’s first-ever trillionaire — and Billie Eilish, who just a few weeks ago made her feelings about billionaires quite clear, is not happy about it. In response to the news that the Tesla CEO’s net worth is nearing 13 digits, the pop star reposted a carousel of infographics purporting ways Musk could theoretically use his money for good while choosing to sit on the bulk of his unprecedented wealth instead. Among them are putting an end to world hunger and disease, rebuilding the city of Gaza after it was obliterated in the Israel-Hamas war, and saving endangered species. After posting several of those panels on individual slides of her Story, Eilish wrote Thursday (Nov. 13) of Musk, “f–king pathetic p—y b—h coward. Hi. Sorry, that sucks, but you’ve seen her a lot. So you have many good experiences to remember. To give you some perspective, I saw the MAYHEM Ball on August 7th in Seattle. My sister was supposed to see her the day before on August 6th, but she went to the hospital instead and died at 12:01 AM on the day I was going to the MAYHEM Ball. So… not to belittle your experience, but it could be much worse.33 points

Well, @NUTELLA said to write.. why I love so much this song. First, has the sound that i love the most. I like 2 types of sounds (either is disco/ house or indie, like a Lana Del Rey song). I'm not bipolar for no reason. When I heard for the first time this song, it was love at the first sight. I liked it too the demo version, but i loooove more the final version. I loved the sound, the lyrics.. everything. When the song came out, and the album.. I didn't come out to my family. In that year, I moved in Dublin for some months, and this song and that city made me feel so freee. To be myself, to be ”full” gay. This song it means a lot to me, even if I sometimes post too much about this song, I really love it.27 points

this, this is where you lost me. I'm sorry you had a bad experience, don't get me wrong... But you also saw it seven times, this does feel like a lot for an experience you've lived through multiple times. Not saying you don't have a right to feel bad, but it does come off a little out of touch with reality24 points

New beginning ??? She’s been serving these kind of looks for a whole year now22 points

Gaga is more the kind of person to reach out privately than to make it a moment on social media tbh. I think Billie Eilish said that Gaga has been a mentor to her and we all had absolutley 0 clue about it22 points

To be real it make more sense seeing her pushing a TF / TFM situation with MAYHEM than any of her last three albums. There's a BIG demands and this album was a critics / awards nods slay22 points

On her Instagram post of this photoshoot, she speaks a bit more about Harlequin: "And Harlequin…it feels like much more than a year ago. It’s an album about empowerment and refusing to be minimized or left out in the cold. These arrangements are my first new steps since Tony died. I’m so proud of Harlequin and how it prepared me for the most incredible year of MAYHEM. Sometimes I forget this has been just one single year."22 points
