For context, the blue check was a mark of shame for a moment, so twitter caved and gave people an option to hide it while still paying for bonus features Now that’s suddenly gone ☠️ Reactions: Like…1 point

Amariyanna My’Angel Copeny’s name precedes her, although you have probably never heard it in full before. She prefers to go by Mari and is quick to remind people that absolutely no one calls her by her full name. In fact, the name that usually enters the room before Mari does is Little Miss Flint, a title she first earned in her childhood pageant days that followed her as she began raising global awareness about the Flint Water Crisis when she was just eight years old. One of the biggest fumbles tbh. WAP as the lead. Up as the second single. Two #1s right there. She didn’t even submit WAP for the Grammys. It would’ve gotten major nominations. That song was a moment.1 point

Elon also "gifted" them to a lot of popular people to keep the "prestige" of the check so her team might not even pay for it. But who knows? Not us.1 point

I wonder how she doesn't get tired or bored writing about the same things happening to her over and over again1 point

Imagine she delays the album if 1:59 flops1 point

i can see her being bigger than Kim Petras for sure, she already has more top ten singles and chart entries than her. I think the hype has definitely died down but if the album ends up being good it will generate positive word of mouth, and I think people will be drawn to the album.1 point

Releasing this outstandingly mediocre song as a lead single from your 5-years-awaited debut album is a career suicide1 point

It's a bop tbh! Don't know why it's getting such poor reactions from stans1 point

It's hmm pretty ugly, it looks like a $1 toy from the surprise eggs vending machine at the mall1 point

For me it's any lyrics that are literal and descriptive. It's so boring. The fun thing about music as an art is the poetry behind it, the metaphors, the creative writing. When it's just "I did this" "they did that" "I want to do this" "this happened to me" "it felt like this" I get bored (and don't crucify me but I feel like a lot of her recent writing is more like this than her old stuff. Like I feel like she doesn't think creatively like she used to? Or doesn't care anymore)1 point

am i the only one who has noticed that, unlike other artists, gagas song titles seem to show up in her lyrics a lot? she seems to foreshadow her future songs a lot probably without even realizing she would have a song with that title within the next few eras. or sometimes she references old song titles in the most beautiful way. I actually love when she does this cuz to me it feels like a celebrity guest appearance, and I get really hyped. here are some examples. 1.) FUN TONIGHT "You know the PAPARAZZI LOVE THE FAME, even though you know it causes me pain." this references two songs, paparazzi and the fame from her debut album. 2.) FASHION OF HIS LOVE "I'm seeing all the SIGNs FROM ABOVE, I'm gonna be the one that he loves......" Obviously, sine from above from chromatica 3.) SPEECHLESS And I'll NEVER LOVE AGAIN, Oh, boy, you've left me speechless Referencing INLA from ASIB 4.) POKERFACE Love game intuition, play the cards with spades to start love game from the same album i used to know so many of these but i forgot some, ill keep posting if remember but are there any you know that I skipped1 point

"same DNA, but born this way" We all have a unique genome, which is literally what makes us each different and special. We dont have the same DNA. This lyric always drives me nuts because its so glaringly inaccurate1 point

The problem is that Taylor has no ability to edit herself anymore. It has always been an issue for her but has gotten worse and worse in recent years as her god complex and kool-aid drinking have skyrocketed Continuing to partner with Jack only makes things worse, he has this obsession with putting cheap 80s knockoff production into her songs and he comes across more like a personal cheerleader than a collaborator who can keep her accountable1 point
-
The album sucks, it has no replay value at all A Taylor Swift release doing massive numbers is a given but she is creatively bankrupt right now. We are looking at the new Ed Sheeran of music1 point
