Love it or hate it (because some have their weird point of view, but let’s not focus on the negativity) Die With a Smile was released exactly one year from today; and is now her biggest hit ever, still charting in the Top 10 in Global Spotify. Lets celebrate 🎉35 points

Madonna has urged Pope Leo XIV to visit Gaza and bring his "light to the children before it's too late". The US queen of pop shared her plea on social media, saying the pontiff was "the only one of us who cannot be denied entry." Her intervention came as the UK, EU, Australia, Canada and Japan issued a statement saying "famine is unfolding in front of our eyes" and urged action to "reverse starvation". "Most Holy Father, please go to Gaza and bring your light to the children before it's too late," Madonna posted on Instagram. "As a mother, I cannot bear to watch their suffering. "The children of the world belong to everyone. "You are the only one of us who cannot be denied entry."23 points

I'm not saying Gaga is Meryl Streep but the way you guys made her sound like she hasn't done a remotely good job in a range of versatile and highly challenging roles is baffling to me and this is coming from her own fanbase. I've met people from the GP who are way less harsh22 points

an artist as big as her was showing Gaga love (along with Adele and Rihanna) at a time she needed it the most while others thought they could talk sh*t and again showed during Eras that she was for real... I'll forever respect her for that!22 points

Abra was released on Superbowl week where the points where twice as much as they are right now. It also had no physical release which is what mostly helps Gaga since Id say thats her best option out of radio, streaming and sales19 points

jokes aside, I wonder how she feels on the inside, she’s been pushing the strong gal facade and, of course, she has a world tour going on which she can’t just cancel the whole thing… but she’s dealing with commercial failure (not her first time too), the heavy criticism, losing her husband and becoming a single mother As someone who grew up listening to her, I feel bad for her even though I didn’t support her last era at all. I think she might not recover from all of this and I don’t think her career can survive a years-long hiatus17 points

I was obsessed with this aesthetic, the PI era was just sooooo sexy, the pony tail and underboobs17 points

Gaga’s marketing strategy up until Mayhem was absolute ****. And even with Mayhem only the first 3-4 months were well executed and planned. Everything post Copacabana has been lukewarm at best from a strategic marketing pov. Taylor is more calculated but I personally have not paid attention to what happens once the album drop. My main issue with all pop stars is that once the album drops they forget about it. No one takes the time to do world building and really land the era besides its lead single.17 points
