Angaow 0
Extremely jealous for anyone that will be at the shows with Miku. (not that there's a tour date anywhere near me to begin with but w/e) Hatsune Miku is huge around the world, and even in the Vocaloid concerts outside of Japan all the seats are sold out so fast, and in some cases the demand was so high they had to find more seats to provide. I hope some of you don't shrug Miku off as some stupid anime character. A major point of Vocaloid now is that they give people who cannot sing or whose song writing/producing abilities would go otherwise unnoticed a chance for people to see their talents through the Vocaloid whose voice they use. It's still their own song and lyrics, just sang by the Vocaloid character. It's less about the character and more about letting people create their own music. Mostly every Vocaloid song that exists is "fan made"; the songs she will sing will have been made by a normal person, noticed, and gained enough popularity for it to be included in the Vocaloid video games or the concerts. I think it's a wonderful thing, and goes along with Gaga's recent message of don't ever stop being creative and that we are all artists because that's what Vocaloid allows people to do. Also, since these are songs made by regular people, some songs can be beautiful about some topics like lgbt issues or mental disorders. (tho obviously a lot are just fun songs relating to everyday life) Very well put, I think there will be many of people shrugging Hatsune Miku off as some weird japanese anime character but in reality she is so much more. She is basically the popstar you want her to be. You get to unleash your creativity and have a chance to get noticed! ARTPOPs message in a nutshell! I was one of the ones on the fence of a meltdown when I first heard this because it's my only tour date confirmed for now, but I'm starting to appreciate the intelligence and CREATIVITY that goes into creating something like a vocaloid. This is a way for people who otherwise would be "behind the scenes" to display their imagination in a visible and sharable way. The idea of it if really cool. Angaow 0
Wtf what's with the Japanese acts Hatsune Miku is Japenese, Crayon Pop is Korean
Angaow 0
Literally D.O.N.E. It's not even a real person. I didn't pay $200 for tickets to a show that includes a cheap anime character. You Paid 200 for Gaga to perform, the openers are extras imo. Otherwise, why purchase a ticket before knowing who is going to be the opening act? Also, she isn't cheap, she is HUGE in Japan. I can't at all of the intolerant and ignorant people hating on Hatsune Miku.

Elizabeth 450
I think this will actually be pretty amazing, very interested to see how it turns out. I actually hope this is extended to the Australian dates, I want to experience it. God forbid she does something that's actually different... Angaow 0
So many of y'all are so pressed Right? isn't it very disheartening that so many fans on here are so hateful and won't even give anything amazing such as Miku and Crayon Pop a chance before bashing it? At least learn about it? Like that Hatsune Miku is basically a way for music producers to get their work out there and given that opportunity to be heard.
