ItsTommyBitch 12,640
Yas I love indie sh!t! Hatsune Miku can be every genre of music all at once and no one bats an eye. 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

Mary Pain 0
i'm very impressed by these opening acts (it could be a great opportunity for more promo to them, specially for Crayon Pop) Who will open in Latin america ? that's my question Edited April 16, 2014 by Mary Pain
Retep 0
Why would she want to? I'm just kidding (it'd be beyond disrespectful IMO), could have used the 2Pac technology for it though. Imagine the headlines if she had
MahoganySnitch 67
Spill that tea girl! Hatsune Miku and Gaga had sort of similar starts as well (well into commercialism). Both used the internet and social media to create a web of influence that lead into the foray of Stardom and international praise. (as well as disdain and confusion) Hatsune Miku is really the minds of all of her Fans and individual users --- just like Gaga lives for her fans, hatsune miku almost quite literally IS her fans. She would be NOTHING without them! Shes ART -- POP -- and TECH all the same time! Some of the fan made songs you find on youtube or itunes of her have SO much depth. Fans compose music and spin off of each others ideas and each add something new to the list. The Nico Nico Douga community and the over all revolution that is Hatsune Miku is BEAUTIFUL and closed minded peeps can stay pressed AF! Yas, Hatsune is definitely ARTPOP incarnate to me! I'm not familiar with her work myself but i am a huge J-Pop fan, and I will defend Hatsune till the day I die bc I will not stand for fans preaching a message one minute and then contradicting it the next. Voltaic 25
Hatsune Miku is far from indie Well I meant not popular, (in the US).
aaronyoji 2,054
This. It takes a lot of work to create Miku, and shes a really big icon in Asian territories. Honestly, a lot of this negativity towards Miku and even Crayon Pop kinda has undertones of xenophobia towards Asian culture, cuz its coming across among here that most users dont want to hear Asian music. Gaga has her reasoning behind picking her opening groups/singers, and I respect that. And they kinda go with the rave-like experience she wants to embody in the tour. NewYorkCity 10,536
This is so ****ing amazing!! ASHDHFJSKALSHA I can't wait to see what she has prepared for Europe!! I mean, it is sooo great that she's giving us different things that we wouldn't probably have discovered by ouserlfs! Thanks Gaga!!
JaggedMonster 2
Get ready to see some Hatsune Miku Cos-play at the tour
LStephens11 15
I just don't understand Asian culture... but I do suppose it's better than Lady Starlight. I don't know whether or not to be glad that I'm stuck with Crayola Pop or not.
Allison M 357
Honestly, I'm not very excited for this. What is she like an animation? She looks cool, but she's not very exciting. Her movement is limited and there just isn't much soul on stage to connect with when it's an animation on a screen. I just don't see myself getting very pumped to see her. and I can't understand what she is saying Sorry guys, that's just my opinion. I have watched like 3 videos of her and I'm just not really feeling it. I was hoping for Zedd or Madeon or another DJ that gets things warmed up and exciting. At least i'm going for Gaga and not for the opening act. I'll probably get water, take picture of the catwalks and with friends during the opening acts. Oh well. ALX 170
I wonder if they'll program her to sing in English, if not that's even more awkward
NewYorkCity 10,536
Literally D.O.N.E. It's not even a real person. I didn't pay $200 for tickets to a show that includes a cheap anime character. Go and create one yourself with paint and then tell me how cheap is it. Bah. Just sell your tickets if it bothers you that much.
Miel 15,009
NO WAY. I'm not the biggest fan, but she's kind of a huge force in the anime cultural community. 3 points in and ready for more
